Enjoyed hearing the story behind Time of the Season. Even though so much time has passed from our youth to now, they still sound fantastic and the songs never get too old to remember or to listen to. ❤🙏🎹🎼🌟💎

We had this album. I agree with you. The singing arrangement is so different. And Bloomstone's breathy style, just so great. One of the best bands of that era. They influenced a lot of folks. Still are, like they said.

Kinda funny the Band broke up BEFORE their biggest hit came out. Giving them life again. No wonder they were called The Zombies.
@joemedley1955 жыл бұрын
If they hadn’t broken up we might not have had another legendary band. An American con man hired two groups of musicians to go on tour as the Zombies to “fulfill contractual requirements”. When the scam got busted two members of one of the bands decided to keep playing together and formed Z Z Top.

The first time I heard this great song , I was 14 and we were driving home from the funeral home after my grandfather died , and it came on the ol' A.M. radio, I loved it , but it was always haunting to me at the same time, reminding me of his death .R.I.P. grandpa .

The zombies are finally getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
@51Dss5 жыл бұрын
it has gotten to the point where the RR Hall of Fame is meaningless. Zombies had several hit songs in the 60s but nothing close to truly talented and prolific bands like Beatles, Stones, Beach Boys, Mamas and Papas, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, and others. If everyone gets a prize then the prize is meaningless...jus sayn'

@@rollingtroll you must've bumped your head and knocked your hearing out of whack...that was some of the worst singing possible especially for a "professional" singer. It was forced -flat- his nasal voice NOT his chest voice...there was nothing musical about his "singing" in that performance as if he were tone deaf. He looked and acted like he was giddy - like he had taken some kind of uppers and was flying pretty high at the moment.

Love the song (and the group), but the M.O.R. speeded-up lounge-lizard version used for this show is pretty tasteless. But thanks, anyway, for featuring the (only?) song to rival that Pink Floyd one with "b-boom cha-cha", from I think, "Piper At the Gates..." album.
