This class/tutorial is amazing. Your explanations and style are very easy to follow. I have done other classes, but they didn't stick like this one. THANK YOU!!!

This presentation was comprehensive and well presented. It was based upon the entire families of icons. Shannon demonstrated how each icon functions by taking the viewer through examples. I recommend that you watch the entire video but you may want to do this in increments. Personally, I reviewed the entire video after taking the class and now have split my viewing to one half hour and note taking. Anyone who owns this software should view this fantastic presentation. There are so many functions that I am sure that you will find something that you did not know. Shannon, thanks so much for taking the time to prepare this V9 film.

thanks Shannon for sharing your knowledge; I have a question regarding adding/extending a stitch. Eg. in your video at 1:01:21 you see a center part with some close to vertical stitches. Can you make these longer or shorter? I'm asking just incase there is a small gap in a design and one would like to add some stitches or make them longer to 'close' the gap. Thanks for your answer and time! - rg . Carel

Hi Carel. Thank you for the kind remarks on the video. Yes, you can move stitch points by going into the Stitch Edit function. That is beyond the "Fundamentals" class that was presented here. In the description you can find the website where you can sign up for classes if interested.

I need to learn HOW to use Corel Draw. Do you have a tutorial for that? I have Designer Plus V9.

Great video, still a shame that you cannot change a outline to a fill in this software.
@shannonofpa74992 жыл бұрын
So long as the object (outline) is created with the "closed object tool" you can convert it to a filled object if desired by selecting the various fill types at the bottom of the software.

I downloaded the trail couple says ago because I have a Bernette B79, also I have a Brother Embroidery machine, can I convert the designs to PES to transfer to my Innovis Brother embroidery? Please let me know. Thanks.

Yes, Bernina DesignerPlus can save in multiple machine formats in addition to Bernina's format e.g. BabyLock/Brother, Husqvarna Viking etc.

The Bernina software can save embroidery designs in the PES format. You can use this software on other brands of machine other than Bernina e.g. Brother embroidery machines. Hope that helps.
