I love the crane, the hawk and the guys cutting grass with the lawnmowers. Those elements made the video beautiful as much as the Phantom touch and go in the opening and the F2 takeoff with all the condensation. Your videos are not just about aircraft. They are about life intersecting with all that airborne thunder we like to watch. Don’t lose your magic my friend: you have a gift. As always, thanks for sharing that gift with us. 本当にありがとうございました

You know. It's gonna be bittersweet when 301 transitions to The F-35. And I think it will be heart breaking when The Phantoms fly for the final time. I hope planes like 315 are given a place of honor. Where generations not born yet can see and appreciate the what I have always believed is the most beautiful fighter plane to have ever been built.
Hard to describe, it is calming on one end the F4's and F2's do there phenomenal jobs of protecting the nation while the field maintenance crews do theirs. Everyone's job is vital. Thanks 1-300 as always.
Beautiful, as always. It makes me sad to see the JASDF Phantoms being retired, but all we need to do now to remember is to hit play on one of your videos. Thank you for putting them on youtube.

These are incredibly beautiful and evocative videos. The filming, editing, sound (and the choice of music) are top class. And I love the cameos of airfield life and activity that you include: the personnel doing pick-up outside the hangar to prevent FOD; the maintenance personnel working on or moving aircraft; the scooter checking the taxiways and runways for debris; the grass cutters. Absolutely superb!
@mikes99394 жыл бұрын
Hard to describe in words how calming and unique these videos are. The inclusion of all the other elements around the field, the birds, the lawnmowers, the FOD crew and so many other things that are never noticed in other videos join together with the aircraft to create a harmony, aided by the music that seems to convey a peaceful existence with everything around one another. The slow motion video capture aids you is seeing the finer details of the Phantoms that I had not noticed before. Every video is a pure pleasure to view. I love the old Phantoms and these videos have brought new life into seeing them in action again but in a very different way than any other videos I have ever seen.

Thank you for another great video showing ground personnel as well. As an aircraft mechanic I find your work important, because in my country our profession is overlooked by many. You show us as we are, integral part of any flight mission conducted. I hate to promote my profession like this, but I think it is important that you get the appreciation for the work you do. Came because of the Phantoms. Stayed because of your magnificence. Will stay. ありがとございます from Finland.

Really love this video. Sad that the Phantoms will disappear in Japan. I saw them last year in November for the first and last time. happy that I captured a glimpse of these Samurai's. To be honest the F-2 Viper Zero is a very nice successor for the Phantom! Personally I saw them during a nice day at Tsuiki during the same trip last year. very colorful and unique aircraft to see. many thanks for this video, greetings from the Netherlands 😎👍

Mitsubishi stop making F-2 back in 2012 I think. The price tag? 127 million USD for one plane.
Nobody has filmed Phantoms as well as you have. You bring back wonderful memories of my days flying the Rhino but you make me feel so very, very old.

I thought I would have had the time to watch this when it first came out, but between my professional and home lives there was precious little time. I wanted to watch this at a proper time; to savor this as I would a fine wine. Tonight is the night. I have carved out down time from my schedule. The video, no the cinema, I just viewed was worth the wait. It was soothing to me. The music. The new and not so new jets. The crews; air, ground, or grounds keeping, all working together. The thunder of the jets in afterburner. All of it mellowed me out, brought a smile to my face, and even inspired me to begin writing another chapter of my book. Arrigato, 1-300, from one of your biggest fans.

I lived near Iwakuni as a boy; then later moved to Tottori ken ( near Yonago). The distinct shape of the F4 is a common feature of my childhood memories. I will always remember the sleek, dart-like shape of the Phantom.

Good to see some more of the F-2 in your videos, especially along side the F-4. When/if they retire the F-2 I don't think there will be the same emotion as saying goodbye to the Phantom. Just the opinion of a person who grew up when the F-4 was still the frontline fighter everywhere, just before the 14s and 15s took over.
