I’m 64. Been a musician for most of those years. I don’t care for much pop. My friends don’t seem to like anything new. Music ended in 1979. But these folks…The 1975 and their side players. I mean c’mon. The tunes, the lyrics, the arranging, and the playing. This band is so thoughtful and enjoy the fact that they can perform live. Saw them in October. Just great.

Matty's vocal performance on Robbers here is beyond impressive especially considering he'd sung for an hour and a half already. He's somehow totally unhinged and completely in control and I don't think he gets enough credit for being one of the best male vocalists of his generation.

This band is out of this world. This is the best concert that I have attended. They put a lot of thought into the concept of the show. They sound as good if not better than their record. I just hope Matt Healy takes care of himself. With his smoking and drinking, I am not sure how that helps him maintain his vocal power. Please take care so that we can keep watching his shows.

I know this band always seems so one man cuz matt is a great frontman and in 2024 sex sells... but really love how he appreciates his band mates and i just wanted to comment and say i love each and every one of you and what you all do. each and every one of these people that put the music into fruition is truly skilled and I'm ever so eager for the next album. I dare anyone to watch this & still not get why the biggest pop star in the world wrote half of her new album about breaking up with him ;) He's not the tallest or most conventionally handsome dude in the world, totally problematic in some ways...but some guys just have it & Matty HAS IT.

No one really knows who the songs are about. It’s a guessing game. I will say there’s no way that she wrote half of her songs about Matty. Most of everything she writes is a mix of real life and fantasy. So many double meanings and life events. It’s silly to think her songs are all about her past boyfriends. That’s not recognizing her talent. She’s an amazing artist. This guy is not amazing..

Ok I admit I’m here because of Taylor and curiosity. Well… I can see the attraction now, he’s pretty amazing. Great band , love the vibe. Too bad they didn’t work out but now 1975 has a ton of new fans including me😂!

They use some backing tracks and auto tune on Matty a fair bit, but they are also great performers with a lot of musicians on stage to get it right!

Agree. So often I hate to see an artist live because they sound so much better studio produced. This is the complete opposite - they sound AMAZING live! I saw them 2x this Fall and want to 'go again' because it's JUST SO GOOD. Not lying - they just keep getting better baby!
