I wouldn't say that Harmond and Roiland argue, but they do have differing opinions on a lot of things and will always wait until a conclusion is reached before actually going ahead with the production of an episode. It has caused them to release seasons at a slower pace than other shows would, but as long as the outcome is amazing, I think it's worth the wait.

One of the clips that never made it into this but was supposed to be was young!Rick sneaking into the Smith house to play with baby!Morty and then portalling out before he got caught only to be caught by toddler!Summer who called for her parents. He's been secretly visiting Morty for a long time and just removing it from everyone's memories. That was where the photo of young!Rick holding baby!Morty came from. The one that concerns me a lot is the Rick-wanted-it-removed vial that's labeled "virginity".
