Full black air force were actually recommended by my school when i was in year 11 (which was like 4/5 years ago), in other years I wore full black converse. But every school is different and I agree with Roland that if you're in year 7 you should be on your best behaviour until you get a feel for the school and full understand all the rules

I enjoyed school for the amount of holiday and freedoms you had but I hated secondary school because you have to deal with a lot more people than in primary school and in my case everyone around me was toxic. My favourite day was my final day in year 13 wherein the final assembly I walked out without saying anything to anyone, leaving on my own terms. To this day I have no idea what any of them are doing but in all likelihood, at least a few of them based on how reckless they used to be are probably dead, in jail or in dead-end jobs and I especially loved the moment someone in my final class asked me whether I would miss anyone. I gave a very direct answer no and created such an awkwardness for them they moved away from me.
