A very bad day trading Used Cars!

Some people want that "big dealer" experience where they're swooned and fawned over and when they come to a smaller dealership they dont feel as "special". They need to manage their own expectations

An hour and a half looking at a used X-trail at a dealer? Crazy, I wish I had your patience. Definitely better off without him as a customer.

Regarding the Jazz water leak. They can often leak under the black roof trim that runs front to back. It's usually right at the back, if you lift the trim at the rear you can sometimes actually see cracking in the sealer underneath. There are KZbin videos on how to fix it. Good luck.

Strange old day, my customer's seem to be more realistic and less picky maybe due to the age and price point of my vehicles under 5k. I seem to have headaches when I have sold newer 5-15k cars in the past. Anyhow on to next week Chops garage, all the best Lee 👍👍

Honda Jazz Mk1 water leaks are usually due to water getting through the rear of the joints that run along the length of the roof. There was a recall for Honda to replace the mastic that goes hard in the joint over time. Unfortunately that goodwill gesture has now finished. Easy enough job to do though, lift the trims and squirt in some silicone seakin' sealer.

I have never had a car where automatic wipers was working remotely ok, be it Mercedes or VW. I also have automatic wipers on my new Dacia, but it never rains here in Spain, so now I don’t need them.

I’ve got Auto wipers on my 2021 Citroen C4 nearly every time I end up doing it manually anyway, the potential buyer seemed a bit picky there. Like you offered to get parking sensors fitted.

Don’t be disheartened by a one day of sales James, it’s a tough indestry at times but we can all see how honest you are with your car sales. There are some dealers out there that arnt so transparent and honest as you are. Keep up with your good work pal. Loving your work and videos.👌👍.

That civic estate looks amazing, there loss not yours as you will sell it. Same with the X-trail. You just know the X-trail customer would either put a claim in or reject it. I knew you did better than Joe. That van owner really looked after it. Do the work on the Jazz and then either retail or keep it as a loan car. Great content, keep the videos coming.

Good luck tracking down that leak, I had a Nissan Pulsar for 5 years with a leak and I never found where it was getting in 😮

I bought a car many years ago with water leaking into the boot. I checked and found that the rear wiper supply tube was disconnected. Wiper fluid was pumped straight into the boot.
