lyrics (feel free to correct me if i'm wrong!): so i'm forgotten, i'm all alone but when you dance with someone else and try romance with someone else you'll be reminded of me! so you've forgotten how to telephone but when you talk with someone new and plan the way we used to do you'll be reminded of me! and when you look in somebody's eyes the way you looked into mine the memory of those little white lies will haunt you all of the time so you forgotten all the thrills we knew await the day will come to you and when your heart is broke in two you'd be reminded of me!
Nice Bo Ashford melody statement. He listened well to Bix.... Ah and Charlie Buback on the baritone!

This is a new tune to me, since the Clinton/Wain version showed on my feed recently. Love it!

Though I prefer the Clinton take, I do find a certain irrepressible charm in Ozzie's shuffling version, with Charlie Buebeck's baritone saxophone being the highlight feature. RKO's _Vivacious Lady_ , aforementioned source of this cute number, should not be missed by Golden Age film fans.

It hasn't been missed by me. I've viewed it numerous times. A highlight for me,is the "Big Apple" sequence. What a hoot! Praise Allah! : D

@@swingman5635 I'm not surprised that you appreciate this one, knowing that you share my enthusiasm for Golden Age cinema, in addition to swing music. Yes! -- the "Big Apple" scene. ... Too, Ginger has fantastic lines: I love it when her rival threatens to give her a piece of her mind and Ginger says, "Oh, I couldn't take the last piece!"

@@Trombonology It's curious to me,that I have no recollection of the tune from the movie. Was it sung,or did it serve as a pervading theme? Although I've seen the film a few times,it's been awhile since the last viewing.

@@Trombonology Oh,and yes, that line you mentioned is great! One of many. As well as our young stars,I think that Bondi and Coburn are superb in their roles.
