To those who say that “he’s obviously heard it before because he knows the rhythm and beat”, it was actually the first time he has heard it. Allow me to explain; It’s kind of like muscle memory, after listening to songs you start to adjust to the rhythm and beat of the song, usually the more music you listen to, the easier it is to predict. Jerod over here has listened to MANY songs, and by doing so he can sense the patterns and go along with it. I for one listen to music quite a bit, and I was able to predict quite a bit of the song as well. Absolute favourite song of all time for me now, and thanks from this cover I like it even more! 🤘Rock on mate 🤘
@rudolphclaus95653 жыл бұрын
Totally agreed, I've listened to quite a few songs and I can play almost any song on guitar/keyboard without having played it before. Like the vast majority of "western" music this is in 4/4, and structured in 8-bar sections. Been looping this for a while trying to figure out why I love this cover so much, and I think it's because it adds a bit of *punch* that the track itself doesn't have. It's great to listen to and really satisfying, but it tends to sink into the background for me, it doesn't have anything in it that fights for my attention. Jerod's drums here add that extra piece to keep me FOCUSED on the song the whole way through. And frankly having listened to it like this it's even easier for me to go back to the original and enjoy it more

@@JustFalcon07 my internet connection sucks so I can't watch his streams how long are they ?
@JustFalcon073 жыл бұрын
@@skelebro9999 they are pretty long. I think like over 2/3 hours i since he does covers from fan suggestions picked randomly so it's not always guaranteed he'll play the song you want. But you can still have a fun time too I usually listen to him while I'm busy working

@@skelebro9999 I know many other people have posted clips of his drumming to other songs on KZbin.
@WoeUponThee3 жыл бұрын
@@skelebro9999 there are a couple KZbin channels that consistently upload all the hololive covers he does, you could probably search for it easily, but the channel i see all the clips on is called “SusStew” if you want you can check it out.

I don't go to your streams much but it's quite the vibes when I watch you drum any song

Everytime I hear this, I can't get over the "HEH!" at 0:29, it's offensively perfectly timed!

I've only just heard Gura's song a few days ago, at first I wondered where dark Gura fan art came from, and I've loved this song since first hearing it, and I'm glad to see it made it to Jerod! The shrimps have now infected his chat! 😄

I didn't expect the song itself to come out so soon, I didn't expect you to cover it so soon, and I definitely didn't expect you to upload it! what a blessed day

I've never expected you uploading some of the hololive tracks on this channel, as you have played several back in the past! All of these drum covers are damn good!

This song got Gura on the level of Suisei and Towa for me tbh

this is the first video of you I ever saw and it earned my sub because I have had reflect on loop for the past 10 hours. you just made it so much better.
