Enkidu the wild man , is who he is talking about .At the time he is introduced into the story, Gilgamesh who is a Demi god or Hybrid , half human half God is causing trouble for the community he lives in, because he is so physically dominant over the people ,that he takes whatever he wants without remorse or fear of retaliation, icluding whatever women he likes even Married. No one dares confront him because of his unmatchable prowess. The people then remember that there is only one being that can match Gilgameshs strength. He is the Wildman Enkidu. Enkidu ,judging ,by his formidable size, is llike Gilgamesh the product of a God and human union, except that he lives in the forest amongst the wild animals , likely because he was abandoned by his human mother ,who feared the ridicule she would face as he grew. A plan was hatched to send an attractive women into the forest to seduce Enkidu , but it took a bit of work because Enkidu was like the animals in the forest ,wild and uneducated in the ways of Men. After a few awkward situations, the woman seduced Enkidu ,and when he tried to return to his animal friends ,they regected him , because he carried the scent of the woman, and they no longer trusted,him. Not knowing where else to go ,he followed the woman into town , into civilization and as planned right into Gilgamesh. The story goes that Gilgamesh and Enkidu grappled and fought for Days, until Gilgamesh finally bent the knee in submission to Enkidu. After that, Gilgamesh ,realizing that Enkidu was not an Evil being sent to vanquish him, but merely just a simple minded wildman, obviously from his same lineage, befriended Enkidu and they became like Brothers......
