The Chicago Bears drafted Austin Booker in the 5th round out of Minnesota, and the rookie EDGE looked very impressive in his NFL Debut vs the Houston Texans.

I really wanna see Ryan Poles go after Matthew Judon from New England. Even though Booker’s making some progress and Demarcus Walker is just OK as a body on the defensive line, having Judon & Sweat as the starting 2 DEs, with Booker & Walker as the backups… that’d be perfect, IMO.

@@natedagreat6704 I just don’t personally put any stock into UDFA’s, journeymen, and low round picks. 85% of them usually don’t make it. Every time this is said, some people always brings up the obvious exception of Brady. Micheal Jordan was the 3rd pick in the NBA draft and no one could ever imagine that he’d be the best IMO to lace em up. Tom wasn’t that great when he got drafted but his will and work ethic is damn near unmatched. The Bears haven’t even been able to draft a Tom Brady in the 1st let alone in the later rounds so hopefully they corrected it with Caleb.

Booker did not "Dominate." His rush never really effected the QB. Every throw was on time and unhurried. He did not lift the OT. The LT had problems slipping on the turf the entire time, because of his shoes. Booker neither recorded a sack or caused a fumble. The fumble was caused by Byron Cowart and Booker tackled the QB long after the ball was already on the ground. He did time a few snaps at the exact right time and he does have good hand use. However, he is often the last one to react. Not saying he won't be great; but, it might be wise to curb expectations some.
