That's cool, comparing our build to the T-rex makes sense. I heard the fact that we can outwalk other animals made us much better hunters, similar to the Wild Dogs in Africa that are strong in stamina. I wonder if the t rex made long chases, until the other animal was exhausted, like a Komodo dragon kind of thing. That would be very terrifying.

This idea that the t.rex is strictly scavenger is very weak. There is a lot of evidence that refutes it. Anyway, it was an excellent interview, Mr. Horner's story is admirable!

My slight criticism of Jack Horners take on T Rex being a scavenger, is that he’s doing exactly what he criticises other palaeontologists of doing, which is trying to prove his theory, rather than disprove it. I agree that, like all predators, it was probably opportunistic. However, there’s enough evidence in its physiology and fossils of other animals to strongly suggest it was adapted to hunt and kill large animals, and did so.

We can for sure understand that Velociraptors were probably the main / apex predators, as they were able to hunt down and kill practically anything, while T-Rex's basically didn't have arms.

Quite a few animals didn't at the time. Today birds don't have capable arms but quite a few are adept predators.

Crocodiles do not grab their prey with their arms, but with their huge jaws. Velociraptor's “arms” looked like wings, eagles don't use their wings to capture their prey...
