I have not done all the quests in Dorne, but I find very interesting that there are earthen called Freyswon and there's one of them by the herbalism trainer that says they are only allowed in Dorne to tend to the plants and that they follow another edict but cannot openly talk about it in Dorne.
@bryanm2559 сағат бұрын
I'm late here but when you create an earthen. There is a robot that teaches you what the different edicts were and freysworn was one of them.. but they ended up being considered obsolete. So they were rewritten.
@Solo_Traveling8 сағат бұрын
@@bryanm255 I have noticed something else. There's another Freysworn in Dornagal watering plants. A guard is directly watching over her and if you speak to him he tells you that so long as she just tends to the plants all is well. So there's a distrust I find interesting.

If I get this lore wrong, I am sure you'll let me know lol. The way I understand it is that the ritual Magni used that turned him into a diamond was from the Tablets of the Earth, which described a ritual the Titans gave to the Earthen to, and I quote, " become as you once were. You shall return home, and you shall become one with the mountain." Given the new Earthen lore, this is just establishing an undeniable trend in how Titans "order" things. Perhaps his lineage, since he is King, is why he was a Thraegar. To me the cutscene showed another example of Azeroth fighting off the Titan's effects, their ordering, just like Azeroth did for the Dragon Aspects. So I see this animosity, friction, between the Titans and Azeroth brewing beneath the current battle of light vs void.
@yallahyallah42208 күн бұрын
what about a giant distraction? the same crystals and Naaru turn from light to void and back, it doesn't appear as if they were really mortal enemies. I fear the absence of "Chaos" has led to the rise of the Void in the first place. And what does that tell us about Azeroth's nature, is she really the "Titan of Creation" or rather the exact opposite of the titans as a whole?
@epiccthulu8 күн бұрын
@@yallahyallah4220 That's where we differ in perspective. "The rise of the void". IF you ask me, WoW has been us defeating one enemy of the light one after another, right now the Light is the strongest its ever been. Even though the Jailer he achieved some measure of his obligation to the Light. (In the BFA Comic, when Alleria sees Sylvanas the Void tells her that she serves the true enemy, and then the void whisper is the light has made a deal with the enemy of all. Aka, the jailer). The Naaru turn to the void when they are tortured into it, the pain causes it. Whatever the Beledar is, could be facing birthing pains.

Hummm. Magni just passed them the curse of flesh. "Azeroth" made him flesh again, and he spread it to all of those in the vault. The last thing to hand out such gift was Yogg. no?

Looking at the ending of Dragonflight even the remaining Watchers are on the path to become Unbound. As such Tyr are actually free to pay them a visit. I TRIED to refind the lore tablet I found in the sea but so far, I have failed. But it adds information about the earlier rebellion. It is the sea west of the tower where the uprising related quests is found. I suppose it may be at WoWhead or someone else can find it. Galan's Edict. Found on WoWhead.

Acco, you need to do the theater in Dorn. It gives the name of their main keeper and more info on their early lives. It's pretty interesting.

It would make sense they enslave the earthen, after all, there is evidence everywhere more so in the dragon isles about sentient beings of elemental origin probably the Djaradin where a race the Titans could not control and also is curious the resemblance the Djaradin have with the humanoid stone statues you find all around the dream, after all the dream is supposed to be the Eidos of Azeroth.... Acco you should do the weekly quest you get from Dagran it unlocks pieces from the archives...

Going through all the Earthen quests, it makes me think the Curse of Flesh was more of a blessing.
@theconclave54308 күн бұрын
The curse of flesh gave the earthen the power of free will. The curse of flesh is probably not the voids doing but Azeroth’s doing.
@DeputyDump8 күн бұрын
@@theconclave5430That's why they consider it the gift of flesh. I still believe the old gods are like draenors sporemounds but infected by the void symbiote flung out long ago.

In the Earthen character creation scenario one of the minders that help you awaken mention that the Azerite/energy anomalies that shoot off recently awakened Earthen used to happen before. So they would shut them back down in the past. But they won’t do that anymore. So I feel Azeroth has been trying to free them for some time. Or at least talk to them.

Hey Accalon did not know if you caught it but I was running Hallowfall yesterday and the Arathi voice lines near the end. The general say that the goal of Arathi empire is to essentially expand to all reaches of Azeroth slaughter the nerubians and then and I quote subjugate the world. The Arathi seem to be a fractal of the burring legion. Do the dungeon and listen to the lines they are interesting. Also have you done the quest like to get your spark in the heart chamber because the bit they talk about the titans is interesting. They disc only show 3 titans originally coming to Azeroth Norg, life bitch and kasgoroth. Later they talk about the other three. They also depict the first 3 in a gold color and the second group in blue just like the splitting of a soul. Gold and blue.

I think the Threagars are a Titin Creation but Azeroth did made Magni to look like Threagar to infiltrate and free the Earthen. In the Cinematic Magni says "so that was the plan all along Azeroth you Fox". Check it out!

Great vid bro! There's so much to speculate about in the new expansion. I am really glad I gave The War Within a chance. I'm having an absolute blast. The vid's topic makes me wonder if Azeroth is "the most powerful" because she can create consciousness and awareness. Perhaps the very source of it.

So, I have an almost identical theory, regarding the Earthen. Especially given the names. Also, remember when Magni became fused with the Diamond HEART (As they call it in the Dwarven intro) of Ironforge, is also when the Dwarves, in game, became Shaman. And it feels natural to them, especially with these Earthen. Also, would love to hear your thoughts on this simplified, summarized theory of mine: The Old Gods are NOT originally Void creatures. the countless planets out there, and very few that we know of had a void entity land and corrupt it. What are the chances that 4-6 (I theorize there are 6 on Azeroth, due to specific wording) land on the SAME planet...And fight each other more than fulfill their goal? I theorize that the Old Gods were all manifestations of the primordial/primal powers on Azeroth (Water, Earth, Fire, Air, Decay, and Spirit) and that Xal'Atath is the actual void being that was sent to parasitically corrupt Azeroth, starting with her guardians (The Old Gods, who commanded forces, such as the Elementals, and Mantid/Nerubians) and as they became corrupted, they began to fight each other. I can expand more if you want to hear it, or we can discuss at some point.
@boballab8 күн бұрын
That power that Magni used to stop the corruption also turned on all the Titan machines in Khaz Algar and that is according to Daegran. That is why I don't believe the power that made Magni a Thraegar is from Azeroth but as Baelgim stated is from the Titans, because it makes a lot more sense for Titan magic to start up all the Titan machines than Azeroths magic.
@netherialdreyrimani8 күн бұрын
I think it IS from azeroth, but the magic is taking control of the machinery that the titans were using to purge *errors* from the world soul. It's sort of parroted in the earthen starting area where your differences caused by what magni did triggers a protocol that was going to end you, you use blue yellow azeroth energy to break free from the containment rings.
@raimundosantiago27788 күн бұрын
I like the theory, it would be great if we discover it was this the actual history. But (and I might be very wrong here) if the earthen are not created, but just an "ordered" ancestral azerothian race, how can the Titans make - or "forge" - more of them like we see in Northrend, in places like Halls of Lightning and Forge of Wills?
@apblolol8 күн бұрын
i do believe that that titans created the earthen, but with time and the influence of azeroth and the gift of flesh they have evolved past their original function. the mecha-gnomes and the valajar are the other titan creations but of very different designs. the variety of function given to the earthen meant they needed more ability to solve a variety of problems rather than purely mechanical solutions or just violent solutions. Azeroth wasnt ordered by a single titan, but by many. Aggramar was the first to arrive soon summoning the rest of the pantheon to help. We know that tiatans have disagreements on how to order a planet, Eonar with her life magic and Sargaras by destroying it completely. I think the earthen we meet in this expansion had a different purpose from a specific titan, rather than the more generalized governance that the rest of the earthen fall under.
@Desciple8609 күн бұрын
I do like the earthen but it Would had been better as a cosmetic than another dwarf race. I would rather had seen the other 2 races done before this 1 that's just a personal wish. I'm sure those 2 are gonna come at some point. This opening to the expansion has been soooo good. It's hard to call anything a miss lol

So now that the Dark Heart is "Damaged" ... what will Xal'atath do? We got hints of a Goblin-Raid via Datamining... imagine this: Xal'atath promise the Goblins a giant Kajamite-Mine if they repair the Dark Heart for them. And we will go to Undermine to interrupt this. Edit: I have to add something... my thoughts went too quick I'm sorry - I wanted to mention that we also know that the Goblins crafted the Dragon Soul... that's why I think this will happen.

they ordered stuff. found old gods tried ordering it, did not succeed, tried to kill them, etc - found elementals ordered it ^^ the titans are probably like greek olympians - kind of imposters that just overthrew the titans, which basically just overthrew the primordials gods (time, aether, nyx, etc) btw xal could be Nyx (the primordial night/darkness) that refused to get ordered etc. since we found there is a reverse machninization machine and a re-curse-of-flesh machine as well - maybe they actually were fleshy once. but you cant tell, maybe they just reversed partial curse of flesh. so earthen - cursed, healed, earthen again.
