Wow 😮. Yummy ogbonu soup!!! You two actually swallowed the fufu, no chewing 👏👏. It is a tie, you both did good job and are both winners. Ogbonu and okra soup always the best soups for fufu in my opinion.

The southerners in Nigeria do not chew fufu right from the days of our ancestors they taught all their generation to swallow fufu. Swallowing fufu is the traditional way of eating fufu. You can not be choked by fufu . You will always cut the size you can swallow. Remember fufu is so soft and I have never heard that anyone was choked by fufu.

The reason why we swallow fufu we want to enjoy the taste of delicious traditional delicacies. But When you chew the fufu it will mix with the soup it will not taste nice at all. When you swallow you will separate the fufu from the soup.
