I live in Manchester I was talking to a old Scouse woman who lives in Manchester now, she told me she was born on Scottie road she said it was the best road in Liverpool in the 50s and 60s and she was full of banter and fun at 90, the young have it easier now in regards of benefits and the likes, the old girl said we had nothing but we had a community that cared for each other, and I think that applied to most of the country back in the day

When I go to Wales for a camping trip, great roads, scenery... fresh air....the worst part of the trip is coming back home out of the tunnel then down Scotland road. Loads of buildings shut down, metal rollers over the windows and doors. Graffiti. Not a great welcome. Pot holes everywhere. Kids pulling wheelies down the main stretch on ebikes and the smell of the oil burning from the docks. Lived here 50 years, never seen it in such as state. No funding and these kids are just out of control. I know it's not just Liverpool... country is spiralling out of control.

It's down to governments past and present for sure ,main culprit was thatcher she changed everything and instead ,of our councils keeping revenue from the old rates and things the milk snatcher ,diverted council funds to central government who as we know ,treat money like it's there own especially Tory rats never spending on infrastructure, houses ,schools ,dentists ,even though between poles coming in millions over years 6 million applied for permanent residence ,after we mostly voted leave to stop this now obviously it's much much worse ,and this government obviously is carrying on wasting billions ,just like Tory's did with Rwanda that was cancelled fkn joke ,all the way on our peoples chances in life they always put ,others before us somehow we must change it one day ,but it will take many brave souls because have youv seen lately ,what happens to protesters even if they have hardly done much wrong ,again this country putting its own people down horrible bstds , especially queer starmer .

Even if you are loaded beware. Just received a letter from HSBC reminding me of the £85,000 guaranteed protection if the bank goes bust. Looking at the state of the global economy, massive debt and a paper currency (fiat) which has significantly devalued I believe the writing is on the wall. If you have a ton of money you won't for much longer. "They" will crash the banks, crash property prices and leave you with nothing but crumbs.

There used to be a big hostel just up the road from eagle vaults, called homeground, you walked past it, shame to see it looks like it's shut down. I actually stayed there for a few weeks as a kid. Heard one of the social workers talking about me, he didn't know I was in the hall. His callous/hurtful comments where one of the catalysts for me to better myself, from that point on. It took a while, but now I have a missus of nearly 20 years, 2 daughters, a house and a decent job. Anyone can do it, you just need that push/incentive. Scotty used to be a decent community, hasn't half changed

If katie went to France and came back on a rubber boat , threw her passport away and gave herself up to the authorities she’d get everything. That’smy advice to every homeless person. DISGUSTING. As for the pubs , the Tories and New Labour ( Tories 2.0 ) made it so difficult to own a pub it wasn’t worth it anymore. The reason imo is the working man would meet up in pubs and talk Politics aswell as other things . So close the pubs and make it too difficult to organise protests and I mean proper protests not like now where people think protest means riot and loot . The country needs to learn how to protest peacefully and then things will change . March on the capital like they did in the 20s and 30s and show the government thst we’re not going to accept it anymore but do it peacefully.

How's about investing in restoring some of these buildings, the ones that give the city so much character and make people want to visit and spend money here. There's a reason why big blockbuster films always want to film here and it's not because of new builds. So many empty buildings that could be used to help these people. Shame innit.

Heartbreaking to watch man...Don't mind admitting it brought tears to my eyes, but loved the guy playing the guitar and keeping it REAL, which is what we wanna hear and see more of...I pray for each and everyone one of them let down by the system and it's controllers...Will leave you with this one...Then the King will answer, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me.’

First of all hope your well this Sunday and family and loved ones all good! Now the upload/content... Scotty Rd hummm...🤔 It's weird how scousers have always been shafted off the government and the so called high n mighty but the people from there (old school ones my age mid 50s & above are the best funniest people you could ever meet! I think a lot of old broken Northern towns & cities have had to adopt that approach through thick & thin wich we have been through aswel (some of us were destined I think) I don't really know what's happened with the youth these days everywhere? and this country of ours(just about!) Love the content billy very connectable and your approach and manner is a gift not learned! Do you ever wonder what would have become of you if things hadden't have changed? Fact is you did and your bringing the struggle and streets to us in The scouse way...Billy Moor way so thanks pal...I like your conversations and manner you have with people that obviously feel at ease with you very quickly! God bless you mate,God bless Liverpool...the North, the Country really.. and most of all all the people who haven't had the luck 🤞🏼 fortune,choice......whatever its called God bless them most! 🙏

Sending love to this young girl, I lost my sister to drugs in 2005. It breaks my heart to see such a young girl hooked on these devil dust drugs. Why after getting clean in these places are they not given a place to stay and support? It just doesn't make sense and is a waste of money. A place to stay and proper support is needed in order to help people. Of course, they are going to end up on drugs again being homeless. I hope this young girl gets the support she needs, gets straight, and goes on to live a better life, happy and content ❤ 😢 🙏

Very simple. He moved to Spain in the Mid 80s and lived there for 33 years without paying tax. Then moved to Norway where he got away with it for another 5 years then he was deported as he had no right to live in EUrROPE Had he registered to pay tax in the 80s he would have had official residency and by the mid 90s a Spanish passport giving him the same rights to live and work in the EUROPE as someone who was born in Spain. He was an illegal immigrant that paid no tax all his live and one day it caught up with him. He has never paid tax let alone in the UK so do not be so keen to give him free stuff.
