Bro, it’s canon that bardock sent goku to earth to save him, except it’s also canon that he was sent there to destroy the planet, except I think raditz thought that he was sent there to destroy the planet, because bardock didn’t say anything about sending him there to destroy the planet, Toriyama really made this very confusing. I think at first, toriyama wanting to make goku sent to earth to save him and have him destroy the planet. except then he wanted to change it, by having bardock send him there to save him without having to destroy it.
