Of course, they can't make it continue on endlessly like Dragonball otherwise. Prediction: The Otsutsuki clan are trying to harvest god fruits to give them power to hold off the super powered Clan Y. Clan Y views the Otsutsuki clan as a bunch of desperate fools. Naruto will need to unlock the true power the the Nine Tails to have a chance at fighting them. We'll call this powerup, "chuuni mode". Once this other clan Y is defeated with Chuuni mode, Naruto will need a new villain. Cue Dr Evil who uses the DNA from all the greatest ninja in history to create a super Ninja who wants nothing more than to subjugate all life on earth. He also happens to have the memories of someone who was bullied horribly as a child. It goes on like that for awhile. Eventually Madara will be reincarnated as a good guy. Because why not. Kaguya will come back and become golden kaguya and instantly become a match for giga hyper ultra chuuni Naruto (It's been looping for awhile now)

I hope they do some more lore on Otsutsuki clan/race. Like are they so powerfull due to advanced Technology, or they were just born with that power, Like sayans and Viltrumites for example. My theory is they are what humans in Naruto would eventualy evolve to due to chakra being injected to the planet earth. I think Otsutsuki were human like but somehow they tapped to the chakra either due to some super advanced technology or spirituality, and over many years they just evolved to Theese Godlike-aliens we see pretty much and obviously they found a way to ascend even further by eating theese chakra fruits from the Divine trees they are planting all over the Universe. Reminds me of Stargate Where you have ancient Race of humans who used Technology to rewrite their DNA and accelerate their evolution, to eventualy become Higher Dimensional beings of Pure energy. Otsutsuki are doing the same Just with Different Method, perhaps Extreme and radical one, but even more effective, as each Chakra fruit has all The Genetic Information from the planet it is harvested on.
