For anyone who is not familiar with Glastonbury, I live a mile away. It’s on a dairy farm, (worthy farm) it’s just green fields, every light you see in this video is part of the festival. If you were to look out at these camera angles any other time of the year it will be pitch black. 250000 in attendance over 5 days, it is massive. Fence circumference is 9 miles. 100+ stages. There are no sponsors, all water aid and green peace on screens between sets. 95% of the crowd don’t leave the site for the 5 days, so that is a lot of tents. 👍

There's some Coldplay Lore attached to this performance. Coldplay met as a band in Uni and Back to the Future was a film they all loved. There's footage of them in their documentary at 19 year olds quoting the film as they watched it. Chris says hearing Johnny play guitar was his "hey Chuck, listen to this" moment. It's a big full circle moment for the band that part of the reason they got together is on stage with them.

I love Coldplay and have for years. I grew up loving Michael J Fox films and this made me cry. Such a wonderful actor and a brave man. A very special moment indeed. I'm also Army, so imagine my joy when they collaborated with BTS. Jin's little character Wootteo is on stage here by the drums and he has been with them on their tour as well.

What an incredibly moving experience.And it;s a beautiful song. I've never been to Glastonbury but my grandchildren go sometimes. One of my grandsons has been part of the team setting up the stages. It's huge and amazing. I'm so envious. :)

This was better than any medicine other than a cure for Michael…he killed it and you know how much Michael enjoyed it and I’m sure it was good for Tracy to see Michael enjoying it……music is healing and definitely comforting ❤

There’s nowhere like Glastonbury. It’s extraordinary. There are many music festivals in the world but it beats all competition hands down for sheer unadulterated joy. It’s no surprise that you’ll hear so many artists rhapsodise about performing there. Or indeed Glasto bores like me go on about it as nauseum.

You were right about this as an event there is nothing like music for bringing people together. Glastonbury is a 5 day UK festival that runs most years and the crowd is over 100,000 and is an international music destination . Cold play were the headline act this year as they have been 4 other occasions - this is home crowd advantage!!! It is well worth diving into these perfomances i would recommend Paul Mc Cartney headlining in 2022 try i've got a feeling featuring John Lennon and hey Jude - see what he can do with an audience. or if you like Adele try her set. For other epic crowd involvement moments try Snow patrol doing Run at Oxygen festival and for out of left field - you'll never walk alone ( liverpool football clubs anthem ) being sung by 90, 000 people in melborne Australia and then of course there is Bohemian Rhapsody being sung by the audience at the Hyde Park Festival recorded by Green Day. very emotional .
