Here's info, I'm reposting once again, that some still aren't aware of: ❤️JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11 started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!! So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey! JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!! JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! He focuses on every detail! Known for his work ethics and being a perfectionist to a fault, spending hours in the practice room, will study every move, even focusing on hands to fingertips. Even his facial expressions, or the look in his eyes! Every single detail he focuses on. Jimin tends to take in the music and interprets all the emotion & feelings, whatever it's trying to convey through his body movements as well as his vocals. JIMIN has now won the prestigious titles for 3 yrs in a row, for both KING OF KPOP, as well as also winning BEST TOP #1 DANCER IN KPOP, also 3 yrs in a row!! Jimin is also referred to as "Rookie's Bible" because all rookie idols, try to emulate & study every move he makes, trying to learn from him! Aside from all that Jimin has won other countless award, broken many records. His 5 solos have broken charting records worldwide, as well as being top seller, plus most listened to. Thank you so much for reacting to one of my requests, that I'm sure others have been requesting and looking forward to as well. Jimin's vocal abilities are absolutely breathtakingly spectacular. His ability to hit those ever so high notes, at times so ethereal, heavenly, so angelic, but yet also have the ability to also use his mid & lower registry, hitting those at times growly, more raspy so seductive mid and lower notes. His vocal technique, even vocal coaches comment on in amazement as well as his so unique buttery quality. His ability to make one feel what ever the song intends one sto feel, adding so much emotion, passion, as well as vulnerabity whenever it's called for, at times piercing ones heart with emotion & feelings. There's other vocal compilations that show other sides of Jimin's vocal abilities, like mainly Jimin's accapela, abilities, or for just his lower registry, I'll be sending links for as well. There's also a newer compilation 'Jimin's Killing Voice', that I also highly recommend, that features mainly many BTS Japanese songs that's all filmed during during BTS Japanese concerts when on tour. Jimin is known for his uniQue vocal fry which i never heard of any artist except Britney Spears his uniQue sQuake too is one of a kind. I will admit that BTS's vocals has weak support ranges but they are monsters when that high register starts to work specially Jimin. Both Vocals and rappers are monsters whwn dping their job. My first video I saw on the channel was '3 guys on a couch watching Kpop' LOL I see I have finally made it into the era! I just realized I commented twice on the same video throughout watching XD I will just combine them I love hearing Jimin just sing acapella without any music like that last clip. There's a clip somewhere of them behind stage in a green room or on set somewhere, where he's lying on his stomach just doing runs like its no thing. I really love his voice. I like to say that he sounds like he's singing in cursive. Also...that ending, I think you mixed up that day with sexy boi saturday LOL
