That is exactly what you paid for, not the special but to see it early - I paid and it was 1000% worth it. The special also upended the industry because it was the BIGGEST middle finger to all streaming platforms bc they no longer hold all the cards. Big comedians have enough of a loyal following to put out their own shit and make it huge - but let's be honest, Schulz did a masterful job of marketing and getting the right influencers to market it. These guys spend their life savings to put content out for free. Of course they can get ad revenue and it reaches more people but it's a total gamble when they could just take a paycheck from Hulu, Netflix, HBO etc. I love the self-funded comedian who refuses to completely sell out.
