Peter Hobbs played on the episode that Helen crump was going to be in trouble for something in her past, played a general on mash. Also barney'boss when he was a detective Richard x Slattery was credited as appearing on the mash episode that introduced bj Honeycutt as being a bartender, but it was NOT him, but a guy who kind of looked like him, I have been trying to figure out who he is.

A little tidbit here - Hope Summers is one of two actresses other than Elizabeth Montgomery to play the part of Samantha on Bewitched. In the episode, "Samantha's Old Man", Samantha turns herself into the elderly "Carolyn", which is how Summers is billed in the credits. (Agnes Moorehead plays Samantha in the episode, "Mother-in-law of the Year".)

It was Jamie Farr, who appeared in Mayberry RFD as a Gypsy. He didn't wear a dress in the episode. Ironically, Hope wore pants in the MASH episode. That's something we never saw on Clara. American Graffiti was the last billing for Ronnie Howard. He was really good in what some considered a turning point episode on MASH. The folks from Doctor Goober's unit found Hawkeye boring. That's no surprise. William Christopher's earlier role on TAGS was as a tax collector. He also played an Army doctor on Good Times. MASH debuted just a few years after TAGS and Mayberry RFD ended. So it's no surprise some actors got to do both shows. A few weren't so easily recognizable on MASH. Asian actors often play characters from various countries in that part of the world. That probably happens to Hispanic actors too.
