MASH would not have been the same show without Gary Burghoff’s brilliant and sweet Radar O’Riley. Love him and I cried when he left MASH and for his incredible performance in the episode where Henry leaves and gets shot down. Awesome actor

I think he was very lucky to get the part as radar in the movie and on television. All actors don’t get that good of a chance to be famous.

I think Gary shouldn't have tried to conceal his hand. I believe that showing his hand in normal movements would have helped other people with Polan's syndrome. I appreciate your acting, Gary!! 😃

This is very interesting, but there’s some pretty major mistakes and the announcer doesn’t seem to even know how to pronounce some of the names of the main characters. Has he even watched this series? Also the character playing trapper John was gone many years before radar left so he was not affected by Radar leaving as was said. There are many other mistakes too, but all in all it is an informative interesting video.

When M*A*S*H first aired and Radar (Burgoff) left the show I stopped watching the show even in reruns I would only watch when Radar was on now as I am older been watching the ones without just isn’t the same

Keep in mind he was a central character in the movie, he is the hub the movie/series turn on. And without him, even though they tried to shoehorn in Klinger, the premise doesn't work.

Gary Burghoff was a great part of the show.....even when the show went down the TOILET.... Alan Alda got worse and worse ... Mike Farrell was the worst thing to happen to the show...... after that the show was UNWATCHABLE...all it did was turn to shit....when Wayne Rodgers left...that's when this show should have been CANCELED
