The Bay has been struggling It’s a combination of people buying more stuff on line, merchandise that’s rather pricey and not having enough staff on the sales floor . In Calgary, their downtown store is down to 3 floors now. Before it was 5 plus a basement . Office towers are being converted to residential . And at nights , no one really likes to be there, lots of homeless as in other parts of the city . That Calgary pop bottle brought back memories from my childhood . There was a brewery here at one time that also had an aquarium . Can’t remember if it was Calgary… but the buffalo head on the bottle makes me think it was . I think you’d really enjoy Heritage Park . It showcases our early settlers here , from around 1920’s era and a bit before . It’s an outdoor park with original settler houses intact . Ride attractions are steam trains , and a paddle wheel boat that takes you around Glenmore Dam .Theres old dentists office, blacksmiths , oil rig ( wooden ) etc. Their bakery is fabulous . The park is open from May to October . Nice to see you found Chalet glass . I like it too . Beautiful shops there, really packed . Thanks for the tours.

Good to have you watching, I love going to Canada to shop (and just in general!). Chalet is a personal favorite! I want to get to Calgary, I've only been to Lake Louise and up to Jasper...my one cross-province trip took me from Medicine Hat to Cranbrook, BC. It's sad to hear that about Calgary, Vancouver has some issues with that as well. Sadly, there are a lot of people on the streets due to drugs, alcohol, mental illness and other things our society hasn't managed to address.

I am laughing because if you had all the footage of that train on the end, the video may have been 10 minutes longer or more. 😅 I love Carleton ware. Some patterns are so lovely and colourful. You promised us more Chalet and here it is. Nice finds. Around the 3 min mark you show the black stem crystal. In Canada it's usually from Belfor. I always pick it up and put it in my eBay store. It is just so elegant. I have a large lot of it to list this month. The oak pieces you showed us were gorgeous. I would love to have a huge home just to be able to buy it all up, haha. Those Poole Pottery pieces are also awesome. Evangeline ware is actually a line that was made by Canuck pottery which use to be Foley Pottery. The sign means that children are playing so go slow. They are all over Canada. Most do say GO SLOW but it would still be funny. We are so use to it here that I had to laugh at your comment about it. I have never heard of Bond Pottery. The bunny looks a lot like Sylvac Pottery though. Interesting. Robert held glass is one that I can never get my hands on so they are always a great find. The ermine with the egg in the mouth figurine was something I would buy for myself. They live on my property and they are so cute. Did you get the flower wall hanging? That was really cool. That must have been a blast. So many great things to see. Thanks so much for bringing us along. ☺

I love Carleton ware too! Yes, had to truncate the train lol. I didn't really know Belfor, thanks for giving me a new thing to learn! Poole is so cool. Loved that stacking bookcase, but I'd need one of the single-wide ones. I liked those studio art glass tumblers. I'd like to see a pitcher made like them. I'd have to simply turn and walk away form those oil lamps. I have so many now it's unreal, but I do like them...a lot. I have two of the _Cosmos_ by Consolidated Glass. Nice oak furniture there. The ewer/mantle piece, on the top shelf, with the porcelain font, really caught my eye. George, I'm happy you like the Chalet and Chantili pieces 😂 I would love to have a tea set in the "Blossom Time_ Royal Albert. I have one cup and saucer set.
