Thank you so much! My son got his belt stuck under the agitator in our washing machine, and I was able to use your direction to pull the agitator out, get the belt, and put the agitator back in. It would have cost me a fortune to bring a repairman in to fix it.

Great directions, did not have a spannel wrench, I attempted to use an edging blade, but couldn't get enough swing on it, until a friend of mine name Buster which a mechanic came over to evaluate the situation and said we needed something shorter, so Immediately popped in my head, turn the blade side ways. Buster got it off. 😊 My wife said only a real man, Can say he needs another man's help. Thank you for your channel.

Very useful, I had this machine and struggle so much until now for the past 5 years to strip it apart. To remove the dispenser seal is best when you pour hot water around it, it remove at ease

Not really The wrench is made for turning the nut. I doubt anything else would work, the nut is on very tightly, and you will need the wrench and a hammer to loosen the nut.

I dribbled some CLR around the top of the ring. Then let it sit for 5 mins. Put a tea kettle on. Then pour the hot water all around the top ring a few times. Pull up on the tub with one hand while smacking the middle column with a rubber mallet, turn the tub a bit and repeat, then keep repeating until the gunk holding it in place releases.
