She even told me once, “There are some things I *don’t* need to know.” 🤣🤣🤣 I cracked up laughing…and so did she. I held nothing back from her. She passed away unexpectedly when I was 21; she was 55. @Matt Adams he did other things, he purposefully would rock back in his chair whenever I had to get up and walk out of the classroom. And when he wrote what he wrote in my journal, that wasn't all he wrote, he also said that it was his loss and had drawn a smiley face. That's not appropriate to write to a 13 year old girl. There were already rumors circling about him at school, about his advances towards other female students and he would purposefully ask them to stay after class and then when they missed their bus, he would drive them home, it wasn't a one time and isolated incident. He would also find the Simpsons episodes of the big breasted beer girl, literally just those. And the first time that he leaned back in his chair, his head bounced off my rear, that was the last and only time because I figured out a way to walk around him.

We as people of society know that someone who is being sexually molested is a major crime. The quote at the end of this film stating "Its about abuse of power" has so much meaning because if its being happened, it needs to be talked about, someone needs to say something. I am so glad Amy finally said something to her mom towards the end because I can tell at some parts that Amy did not feel comfortable and she wanted to say something at some parts of the film and she did not want to as well. When I asked the other students if any one knew why, they said they heard a parent complained about inappropriate behavior toward their kid. All the students were mad and wanted to know who the student was. I was afraid my Dad was the one who called the school which was the kind of Dad he was! I never asked because I didn’t want to know. I can’t believe how so many defended him when SHE IS THE VICTIM. Calling her a slut, trashing her front yard, and her reputation being ruined. She’s a child and he’s A GROWN ADULT. He knew what he was doing and thought he was untouchable b/c of how this town backed him all cause he was a coach for the football team 😡

All my life, I've been around ppl that defend this type of behavior. & We get into it. It's crazy.

That for me was the worst part of the movie honestly. The aftermath.

Wow…I never really noticed before that the friends went from saying stuff like “He’s the cutest coach at school.” at the beginning to telling Amy “He’s, like, 50 years old!” when they see he likes her and she likes him…after seeing everything that happened and putting it together, like her friends turning on her and buying in to the sl*t shaming-so horrible!-I think they were jealous that he was paying attention to Amy and not them. Before he paid her attention, they would joke about it like in the beginning, but afterwards, it’s like they were trying to deter her b/c they were threatened that he liked her. Hmf, some FRIENDS…and they seemed supportive at first! Interesting…does anyone else think this?

Totally agree. Instead of helping her, they were jealous and blamed her.

I know right??? Did ya tell on her cuz you wanted to help her or cuz you were jealous?? That was wrong to talk trash about her. Not real friends!

Instead of being upset that he's using their "friend" & trying to ruin her life, they're jealous of her.she should be in her 50s now, she learned about what type of "friends" are out there.😢

As a lifelong chubby girl who's always adored Sara Rue, I really wanted her to clock his smarmy ass. The fact that his adult character was even passing comments on teen characters' bodies was enough ick for me.

"Something's bothering you? Parents?". There, right there, him turning her against her parents, making her believe that he cares about her more. Typical behavior.

I have always found it the most chilling that adults hurt children. It must be one of the unpardonable sins. I mean, how could someone who knowingly take away innocence be forgiven?!💔😡

All too often good-looking high school coaches take advantage of girls who hero-worshop them. It's all about ego.
@skunkie1102 жыл бұрын
We actually had something similar happen at our school... it's hard to remember all the details at this point, but I recall we had a handsome coach (as a teen I remember being attracted to him, as I'm sure many girls were) and he was overall very popular/well liked. And I think it came out that he was having "inappropriate" relationships with students.. I don't know what came of it though.

Girls want to be boned as well. Yet male student bones a teacher the guy is lucky. Jennifer Lopez made a teacher student movie she tried to make out she was taken advantage of by the student. Could be true. More likely the aggressive girl takes advantage the guy who's wife just took the kids and the dog. Women so pampered now. Feminism is supremacy and lies
