A local deejay played Shuggie Otis' Aht Uh Mi Hed and the moment I heard it, I could hear Outta My Mind - it is completely modeled off of it. Take a listen. And then, take a listen to the Auerbach's most recent Every Chance I Get and right out of the gates you can hear Son of a Preacher Man (D.Springfield) and Spirit In The Sky (N.Greenbaum). I love the work but someone else laid down these beats beforehand - there should be some recognition of that.
