The Armoury Team's Favourite Items of 2021

We're closing out 2021 with a look at some of our favourite items from the year. We had many viewers ask to see more of the team so we've included as many familiar faces as we could. Sam Wong, our faithful producer and cameraman, also makes his first appearance on The Armoury TV. Despite our numbers, two people still managed to pick a navy Model 12 blazer as their favourite item of 2021, which probably says something about the enduring popularity of the navy blazer.

The girls styles were the best imo. Great look with the turtlenecks and those jackets. The kinda cream colored jacket one girl had was gorgeous.

Interesting to see how alan has evolved from being very formal pre covid (he was seemingly always in DB pinstripes and black oxfords) to very very casual in sneakers and all now. Would be interesting to hear his evolution

Model 12 unvented back is a great detail. I love that because I don't like vents myself as I mostly wear original vintage or vintage inspired garments. Great pairing with the double forward pleat trousers.

I absolutely love the double forward pleats. Every pair of dress pants I have as well as all my suits have double forward pleats. I’ve been having my suits made by Copley and the they’ll only do reverse pleats now fortunately my tailor can make them forward pleats.

I love the armoury jeans, i haven't washed since i bought in 2019 too ! and this year, my favourite is the navy cord road jacket, so versatile.

Is Sam's jacket too tight? When it's buttoned it creates an x pattern, I've heard that indicates it's a little too snug.

its a little bit more on the fitted side with a sweater underneath. He decided to tailor the fit to be versatile enough to be worn with and without a sweater so this was a good compromise. If he had it looser it would probably be too loose to wear with just a shirt!

i love your videos - but, i went by the 69th st store the other day. felt scary and uninviting to a rube like me. i don't have the wallet, yet, for your suits. but, it would be nice to feel welcome. i would save for the experience of buying there, i think, if it felt welcoming and friendly and low key. just giving you my gut impression...!
