I want to thank you so much for everything you do! I was a sketch artist all through my school years and as kids and life came along it became all about kid crafting. My two boys are now grown ( 24 and 16 ) and I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Between chemo, radiation, surgeries ect.... I not only found myself with a lot of free time but little energy. I happened upon your youtube channel and it changed my entire life! I love painting but even on the really bad days, when I couldn't even pick up a brush, I watched hours of you doing it and couldn't wait to do it myself. You truly gave me something to look forward to everyday and the motivation to battle through the chemo haze to get to my easel. I have now been 2 years cancer free and I still watch you almost daily and paint with you at least once a week. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad you told us about using white over the black! I just tried your lip painting tutorial and I couldn't cover the black with my cheaper paints. I had to put 5-6 layers and it's still not perfect. Will definitely try painting them white first next time!
