Thanks!! Yeah, I mix much larger amounts for myself. Basically double or triple everything for the amount I mix. I have a lot paint though! 🙂

Dang! NY MET's social media team need a raise. This channel is the most subtle way of attracting visitors! Jokes aside, I have been binge watching your channel.Very good info, and it is breaking down in a very simply and easy to understand way without being a tutorial step by step guide but more a way of approaching art with an airbrush in hand. I am surprised I did not find your instagram, web or similar though.

haha! I have no connection with the met, just a fan of it. Thanks so much Juan. I really appreciate it man. I've had social media and a website, but found it very distracting and a waste of time. So it's only youtube for now!

im really watchin and learning...even with my micron i struggle with thin lines like eyelashes or eyebrows, i loved how u used a color pencil...i think that should work for me as well
@theartworkshop2 жыл бұрын
thanks so much man. Really appreciate it! In the next portrait lesson I'm going to go over another technique for thin lines like eyelashes. They are so difficult to get right sometimes.

@@theartworkshop oh thank u, so much.... another quick question..i see some artist use the copy paper method for portraits..( cut out like a stencil certain parts)
@theartworkshop2 жыл бұрын
@@suspensefulness Nothing wrong with that technique, but it's not for me. I'm always going to start with a drawing.

As a raw - and I mean Raw - beginner, can you suggest a starter colour set for portraiture?
@theartworkshop2 жыл бұрын
the most basic would be something like mixing 10 parts orange to 1-3 parts cobalt blue. another is 10 parts burnt umber to 1-5 parts cobalt blue. I have a video on mixing flesh tones. check that one out!

Awesome master I love 💕 it great teaching ………one question master what’s the difference between iwata micron sb and the iwata takumi thanks 🙏
@theartworkshop2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Not much of a difference at all. The trigger is slightly closer on the takumi and the cup design is different. They spray exactly the same.
