Yes, dogs from L.A. were evacuated to other states to make room for dogs/cats picked up as a result of the fires. This way people can be reunited with their lost pets. Thank you Asher House and all of the dozens of shelters that have helped with this enormous effort. 🐾❤️

Thank you, Lee, and the transport team for taking more LA dogs! So many great mixes here: Tripod Mal; Rottie/Bulldog/Sheps; and an Irish Wolfhound mix.☘️ *To be clear, these are dogs that were already in area shelters when the fires hit. So they weren't evacuated or lost. Unfortunately, LA shelters always need space for more incoming, but this is esp. true now.💕🐾☮️

Thank you for explaining that. I thought they were rescued from the owners who left them behind. I love the mini rott. I used to have a rott Sheppard mix. Large big baby, she passed almost 7 years ago. Now she is home in my kitchen with my father and other animals I had cremated. God bless you all.

They're all beautiful. I love the white pittie with the pink nose. Lee to all the dogs, " Look at his dog! I'm keeping this one!" I'd be just like Lee, never want to make a choice, keep them all. I love the way they are all just running around, no fighting, everyone is just happy to be there. The dogs just pick up on Lee's energy.

Those poor puppies have been through so much, ending up in a shelter, probably being in places where the fires were close and by having to be moved to make room for the poor dogs separated from their families. Thank goodness they found their way to Lee and Sarah. They’ve been so traumatised, but now they’re going to be ok. Lee will help them all and they’ll have the best lives ever.☺️

I hope you take in as many refugee dogs as possible as their owners find temporary homes. I have been through a california wildfire and let me tell you these people have lost everything and dont ned to lose their dogs too. When I was displacd I had to find a place to stay that would allow me and my young dog. I couldnt imagine going through all the trauma without her. We made it through together. Its very traumatizing for all. Lee, you are the best and thank you for all you do. I know you will house as many displaced refugee dogs a you can till they can all be reunited. Tearing up now.
