I once worked as a custodian at Walmart; best job in the store lowkey, but I did have to clean up a lot of poop. It was gross and wasn’t fun. Especially the time a guy blasted diarrhea all over a toilet seat and onto the floor. I was seriously gonna walk out and quit at that moment but I needed the money. Stuff like that didn’t happen that much luckily, and custodian really is the best job at Walmart, but man those times really really sucked.

legit this happend to me too ok here's the story so i'm working at a lowes prop bout 2011 and my job was to help in the paint bucket section like put buckets on the shelves stock them yadada anyway so i'm stocking one day and i notice a brown paint can is missing so i look up wether if it was being brought in ether on a truck or if it was in the back of the store so i go looking and i find the paint spilled all over the floor and such but no bucket turns out some 50 year old lady had to go poop so bad she dumped the paint out of the bucket crapped in it and then put it back on the shelve dude when i found this out i was like 🤢🤮 and of course the poop bucket lady gets kicked out and banned now we have cameras watching the paint shelves in case anyone wants to do that again

This is how a friend of mine treats dumb customers-hell honestly you aren’t rude enough. He isn’t the type of person who believes the customer is always right. Legit he gets customers that ask for orders of chicken tenders and he tells them to come by in 45 minutes to pick them up-they proceed to come in not even 5-10 minutes after calling and he straight up looks at them after figuring out who they are and proceed to start turning his head in every direction as if looking for something-she asks “is there a problem” he proceeds to respond-“yeah I’m looking for the universe that you think revolves around you.” She obviously asks EXCUSE ME and he says “you heard me-I told you 45 minutes over the phone-either you didn’t listen or you didn’t care that I said they wouldn’t be ready for 45 minutes-so if you can come back later when your food will be ready or perhaps would you like me to wait longer to make your order? Cause I’ll take as long as I need for you to get the point” They proceed to say “sorry I’ll come back later” and legit came almost an hour late picking up their food. He is just a straight no nonsense person-and my favorite ideal from them is that assertiveness constantly mixed up with rudeness or arrogance or anger and that idea comes from people who are insecure of themselves or people who can’t stand the idea of being brought back from reality and that from not learning from their own stupidity they are actively making others stupid or miserable in the process. Many times the shit just needs to be called out as it is-no matter how rude it comes off. And before somebody says it-there is a difference between making an honest mistake and being truly dumb-considering usually the people who act stupid without a care in the world are full grown adults…they need to be brought to terms with their shit otherwise they won’t ever acknowledge it and they won’t learn-we can’t let social graces get in the way of saying what’s up.

I've worked at Walmart, sadly when there is a spill such as feces or.. other stuff, you're required as an employee to either clean it, or stand there and safe guard it until another employee finds you and either brings cleaning supplies or pages a custodian/janitor. The only messes you aren't allowed to clean up are if there's blood in any way, even a small amount.

Not to mention if there's a food spill you aren't allowed to throw it away bc they say you can still sell it so you gotta bring it to the back where they fix the packaging and put it back on the shelves; unless it's beyond saving, then they go to donate it and if that's not possible, THEN they throw it away
