I remember being young like Jackie and thinking knowing lots of names and book titles gives you more intelligence. "You guys know who Pierre von Ross Mc'Dingleheimer Schmitt Jones the 3rd? No? Wow ok ill explain it to you plebs". As I've aged I've discovered INSETAD true signs of wisdom and intelligence. And one big one is admitting what you don't know and being able to openly admit it...then asking good questions and being able to grasp complex topics in a digestible way. Jackie seems to think if he fluff the conversation up with enough big words and sneak the meat and potatoes of his point through the back door, he's therefore "defeated us" on a technicality. He can't answer questions simply, he can't use his own words, he can't really easily portray his beliefs. And that speaks volumes about Jackie's intellectual maturity.

Jackie reminds me of this kid that used to call back in the day, I think his name was Andrew? This guy used to call in and try to trick the hosts into accepting his point on a technicality using any number of methods. Needless to say, it fell flat every time. Well Jackie here seems to have the same goal. Saying we're "smuggling in an ontological assumption" when asking for evidence then saying "hierarchy of value perception" is evidence of anything other than word salad...it's just frankly stunning that he thinks he'll make headway. It leads me to believe he only wants to do this on air to convince others watching that he "technically beat the atheists". It's not gonna work. Just like it didn't work for Andrew. The hosts hit the nail on the head with explaining his motivations after the call. Spot on.

In Quebec Canada the govenment passed a law stating the Province was secular and so all employees paid through the gov't could not wear or display religious symbols (crosses, hijabs, etc). Everyone who finds their way out of their religion does it in their own unique way. Mine was in my early 30s during a time when origins of things became a thing I took great interest in so naturally I became interested in the origin of the biblical god Yahweh. It was obvious that people had civilizations that pre-dated the ancient Israelites so they must have had some sort of beginning to start calling Yahweh their god and claim he was the only god. After researching the topic, every god and religion fell completely on the side of mythology. As the saying goes, "I've seen and learned too much to ever go back."

I know this isn't religious, but it is a big problem of government overreach. When we were issued social security numbers it was argued that they were marking everyone with a number. But government said no this was a work number and would only be issued when you got your first job so that they could take out your money to go into your social security fund. Only your employer could ever have this number. Now try to get any utility without giving them your ss number. Tell them no & they will say ok, we just don't have to give you service either. Now when you are born, they give you your ss number. So wrong.
