Congrats on finally grabbing that course record at our parkrun!! So glad you interviewed the young kids who were so excited to meet you, especially Paolo. He is a regular, but had some injuries so missed running with you the other times, and was so disappointed. Of course, biggest congrats go to Allie; we will be watching when she goes to the Olympic trials, and I am sure she will kick some butt!! She is in such good shape now, so I think she has a good chance!!! Go Allie!!!

Congrats Local legend for your course record. And i loved it when you yelled " you can win this!"
@jeffmorris95236 ай бұрын
Way to go, Spencer! Great job. If that course is 20 seconds long, you already are in 15-flat territory. Now you need a fast, accurate course to put that mark down and work toward your PR. Your local legend series is pairing really nice with Allie’s quest for Olympic dreams. You guys are killing the content.

Great video Spencer! The local legend series is pretty cool and if it encourages more people to run/exercise more than that's awesome! It seems the altitude training did up you and Allie's fitness level. You both looked great. Cool Will was able to help film. Always nice to see other's from the Seattle crew! Where has Randy been? Do you see Ari much? Ok back to your vid.. yes that freshman seemed pretty dang good. Be neat if we see his name in the coming years. I cant wait to see Allie at the O trials! I'm sure she will kill it!

Thanks Will! W, for Will and Winning! My no spoiler prediction is sub 15 for 5k. My course prediction is 15:20. Edit: WOW! 15:17, and 15 flat for a 5k, right on the money for my prediction, and super incredible record breaker. Bonus Edit: That kid is phenomenal! 16 flat 5k as a freshman is ridiculous! He could be added on to the list of the less than 2k men that have broken the 4 minute mile when he gets to college.

you should try doing a last the first challenge at Park Run, seeing if you can manage to overtake the full field of runners to win a race, or just how high you can finish starting at the very back.
