Dude you passed me at the very end 😭, that was me in the white hat and we spoke and got a picture after. Super fun race. Love your videos!

That's a rough group (Men 26 years old) and the Citizen Winner in 30:02 was in your age (26). You ran 33:27 and finished 5th in your age (26)! Tough crowd! Way to go Spencer!
@jeffmorris95237 ай бұрын
Great job, Spencer. Running 33:28 at altitude and weaving through the crowd is a really good time. You can run sub-31:00 with more training and on a flat course. I think you have hit on a really good niche with the direction of your channel. Running road races and taking on all contenders will be something so many people can identify with and with your personality and Allie at your side I think your channel will continue to grow.

ya, 60K people. It was 53K when I ran it in 2000.
@PatNeedhamUSA7 ай бұрын
The wiki page for that race says it's limited to 60,000 spots, but when viewing the official results page it says "37,322 entries in race"?
@BenShaw157 ай бұрын
@@PatNeedhamUSA if I’m not mistaken, that 60k number was from a few years when the PRR DID host the largest 10k race to date bringing in that 60k number. 2020 among other limiting factors have caused that number to creep closer towards that 37k in recent times, but it’s still attended by many, many people, including myself, every year.

I believe Bolder Boulder was at its peak 50k (which probably earned it the “biggest” label at the time), but it’s now more like 40k

NY Marathon allegedly has 61,480 participants and Chicago has 57,640. Not sure which numbers are correct but the fact that Bolder Boulder gets that many people out to Boulder is insanely impressive… the whole population of Boulder is ~106,000 haha

Ok, 5th. Also, no spoilers, my prediction for 10k is 33:50. Edit: 33:28 for 10k is really good! That's 16:44 5k pace, which is not much slower than the 5k pace you ran at the last 5k race so I'm excited to see what you can do after around a year or so of good training. Maybe sub 32 10k? It's possible. Keep up the amazing work Spence!
