Ok Jinjer facts: Each member writes their own parts with some exceptions. The boys often collab together to come up with the instrumentals which means they might draft up parts on other instruments to fit the ideas they have, but all of the music is written in house and usually by the member that plays the part. Tatiana writes her own lyrics and vocal melodies, but on occasion Eugene will throw some lyrics in. The lyrics for Dreadful Moments, Sit Stay Rollover and the end of Pisces were written by Eugene. If you want to see what her stomach looks like just go to her IG, @tati_booyakah, she has lots of pics there, or watch The Prophecy music video

Eugene, Roman and Vlad create the songs. Most often one of them writes a song and than they workshop it between the three of them (this info is from an interveiw with Eugene the bassist). When the music is done, they give her the song, she then writes the lyrics and the song lines etc. Eugene has written a few lyrics and helped Tati a very few times, but he says the lyrical and vocal parts of the creative process is all her 99,9% of the time

Enjoy your energy, commentary, and you got my sub 🤘 Although she is not a growler/screamer like Tati, or Courtney who both are metalcore vocalists, you definitely need to hear power metal vocalist Brittney Slayes from Unleash The Archers. Now I'm not a singer. So take this with a grain of salt. But when you mentioned her getting into that stance, I really don't think it's a breath support thing. Her scream is completely in the false chords and epiglottis, so it's atonal. I think she was elongating her vocal tract. As I understand it the way she produces "tone" from that atonal growl, is be changing the size of the resonant space. I feel like she was tipping her head, dropping the larynx, and creating maximum volume (space, not loudness) in the space above her vocal chords. Because the sound that followed was a very low guttural scream.

@drew17533 жыл бұрын
You did it! Okay, you've listened to a good deal of metal at this point so if you want to see a totally different way of screaming check out one of the live versions of Arch Enemy from 2008 (it's their previous singer, Angela) and you can see someone doing something called false chord vocals instead of what Tatiana and Courtney do which is vocal fry. I'd personally recommend "Blood On Your Hands" or "Dead Bury Their Dead" but I know most people are going to say you should listen to "Nemesis" which is definitely an awesome song, I just have my favorites. A few more metal bands/songs I'd recommend for interesting or impressive vocals (not necessarily female lead): Lamb of God - Walk With Me In Hell or, if you want some cleans, Overlord Gojira - Silvera, L'énfant Sauvage, Born For One Thing, or really anything else...they're amazing Opeth - Ghost of Perdition Pantera - Cemetery Gates Dimmu Borgir - The Chosen Legacy Job For A Cowboy - Unfurling A Darkened Gospel Strapping Young Lad - honestly there's so many here that I'd recommend but I'm sure most would say the song Love? is the one you should do. Their lead singer is Devin Townsend. The Agonist - Panophobia I could go on for a long time but there's a few I could think of off the top of my head. /long rant
