How about a 6 month update on how Courtney’s eBay store is going now since she started? Would be a great video to see if she can quit the barista job yet

Aaah the good ol taped up disc covers. Drives me crazy having to remove the tape to check the discs before I buy. The TV series prices can sometimes be a strange one at some stores. A Lifeline I was at two days ago was selling TV series for $4 each and they had the full set of Ballykissangel which would have been $24. Steep but still worth the cost, but when I got to the counter the lady only charged me $1 each. Very happy.

I think the hardest part is finding good stuff to sell consistently, or having a good enough memory to remember all the items that sell well...

Great advice.... any update on the pokemon card you spent near $800 on ? Oh yes sold on offer for $499.... can't "catch em all" aye

Haha cash is king and I needed to cut the loss.. the 2 videos produced around the purchase covered the cost in ad revenue 😘

I did 6 figures on ebay in my retail store with only 10 listings. (there were variations and obviously lots of quantity behind it). But we've never met, so your statement about never meeting somebody that's done it without listing consistently is still technically true :)

Hey mate. Definitely only need to sand which the cards in between cardboard and put them into a box. Customer will be happy and they wont get scratched because of the sleeves. Great sale!

I’m considering starting this. What’s it’s like to post the items? Do you go to the post office? Are there any clips or channels I could watch to help me learn

When you say a"A coupon at checkout" are you manually printing them and sending them with the order? because I don't see an option when creating a coupon to send when a customer buys something. Only for previous customers over a month old. Great videos btw :)

Great video. I had to come back and watch it again as it was too late to complete watching it. I had Baki the grappler collection 1 and 2 sell internationally for me back in October 2022 for $195. How that has come down considerably i would never know. Great finds top 10. Thanks again and have a happy!

I noticed that Seachange sold overseas. I mainly sell DVD's and notice that a lot of Aussie tv shows seem to sell to expats overseas, particularly in The UK. Just shows how important it is to sell internationaly.

I'd be interested to know how often you run into issues with return requests or item not delivered queries? With the volume of items you turnover I imagine you have a higher hit rate so I wondered how you dealt with and monitored these?
@TheAussieFlipper7 ай бұрын
1% is returns! Very minimal so I usually just accept and refund :)

I don't turn on best offers as I got mostly low ball offers, I also list the lowest price at listing time to any other listing.
@TheAussieFlipper Жыл бұрын
i'd change things up personally. Price mid range and accept offers. You can enter minimum offer values to stop the low balls if you don't like dealing with them.

How do you estimate international shipping on the listing accurately? I have been burnt cos I didn't make it high enough and then it turned out a lot more than I had on the listing...

Question, with the Dragonball Z. DVDs how would you package it for posting? or What envelopes would you used. Wow about the Pokémon cards. I’m so tempted to go through my oldest son Pokémon collection ha ha just joking.

I’m working on a how to sell DVDs video that will explain it. I do have shipping related videos on the channel. Maybe check those out!

Deceiving title. You’re talking about revenue not profit! Please start talking about profit because that is what you take home. While revenue sounds better for your KZbin Chanel it’s not right. People don’t sell on eBay to boast about revenue, people do it to make profit!
@TheAussieFlipper Жыл бұрын
I don’t think it’s deceiving at all? This was in no way intended to be anything more then what it is.. to make $100,000 on eBay. If it a $100k profit you’re after just move the needle and list more. Every bit of information given in this video pertains to the title. Very frustrated by this comment…

If you want to take the time and effort to educate people in a specific way... do it. Otherwise, accept that everyone is entitled to do videos how they see fit and appreciate the dedication it takes to create videos. This video is informative and gives one person's experience and perspective. If you watch the video in its entirety, you completely understand what is being communicated. And of course, it's got to be a combination of what works for KZbin as well as appealing to a wide variety of audiences.. that's the point. But, every video cannot be everything to everyone.... and that's just fine :)
