I've had op-shop people quote me insane prices - what they do is a quick check of eBay and take the highest 'asking' price - they NEVER check the 'sold' price though - they can be VASTLY different... They always think they're experts haha! Also - another lesson that it's ALL about the timing with op-shops. Continuing to enjoy the posts Matt & I'm a 30% club member, but perhaps lift the facade that you're a 'mentor' to Courtney and start making joint posts - they could incorporate more stuff and use both of your strengths. You'd probably end up with more views and can pay Courtney a bit more money.

Just reading through the comments.. I've never met Matt, but really enjoy watching his videos. Like a lot of us, he's just a guy who enjoys the op-shops and selling stuff, and he's done really well to make a quid and buy a home - as well as living a crazy life filming it for our enjoyment. I actually pay for the 30% club membership, as whilst Matt's stuff isn't 'perfect' and sometimes his style can be a bit 'bossy', it's FAR more enjoyable than the crap on free to air television, and the guy is extremely hard-working trying to run his own ebay store as well as filming and editing to a pretty high quality for us - he needs to be supported, not bagged like some folks in here are doing. I'm no fan of 'echo chamber' forums and believe that everyone should be open to constructive criticism and suggestions, but if you don't like his stuff, simply don't bloody watch... simple as that! To those bagging him... where's your KZbin channel? How many of us haven't purchased 'mistakes' when out thrifting? Bloody hell... I've been doing this for 30 years, and continue to make mistakes - but I learn from them. If you're not making mistakes, you're not learning. I'm a crusty old Gen-X and really dislike 'keyboard warriors' who are quick to judge and bring-down others, but who are lazy sods in their own lives. Rant over.

Ok... some of Matt's stuff may not be 100% authentic and I don't always agree with what he says, but personally I come here for the entertainment and interest - it's far better than the crap on television. It is what it is and not everything people see on any media platform is fully 'authentic' - it's all edited and designed for 'clicks', and once that's understood, it becomes easy to just watch it for what it is. Matt's better than most and obviously trying hard to please his audience - which is far better than watching people filming stupid pranks or doing crappy dances for the 'clicks' . Aust Post are increasing postage. 😱 May prove counter productive as fewer people will be able to afford it, meaning fewer parcels sent and LESS profit for Aust Post. 🤔 They may have been better off REDUCING postage. Less profit on each item BUT more volume = more profit overall. Think about it. I have stopped sending large items with Aust Post; so the don't get a cent out of me!

I think its a risk but worth taking guys because you take them home, then do your research and you can return them to salvos within 7 days for any reason soif you find out they are not genuine its not a problem.

Because I’ve been following Matt since he very started this channel. He did an interview with I think maybe 2 Aussie thrifters and diary of a flipper on there live show. He was great. Good on camera and fun to watch. I often pass him in my local op shops up on the coast. I’ve never bothered to hassle him but occasionally say hi. I’ve heard the way he speaks to people in these shops and it’s actually disgusting. It’s always the older women he talks down to. He has a very narcissistic personality and it’s obviously now starting to show in his videos. I think the video he removed is sheer proof he doesn’t care about this community. And after a little backlash he deleted it. Now isn’t responding to anyone. He won’t care about what people think. But if his views or subs were tanking he would delete a video. The fact that he’s 3 years into this and charging people for courses is absolutely beyond absurd. Look at the numbers he shares and the advice (he doesn’t give) he pushes. Lots of people will fall to the sword if they’re inexperienced And by the look of recent comments A lot have, and are realising what he’s truly like. It’s a shame. I’ll never pay to be mentored by someone that says they’ve bought a house on the back of selling $10 DVDs, shares how much they make a day and clearly shows it could barely buy groceries. I understand any money is good money and hats off to anyone having a go at selling and making bread Also to those that KZbin as there’s no way I’d have the confidence of Matt Jax Danny etc. but I think the problem here is that the KZbin has gone to his head a little bit and doesn’t see otherwise. Now he just thinks he’s better than everyone. To my knowledge most people that have helped him along the way now despise him also. Because he’s turned his back on them. Then that little kid he used for views with false titles. Became overwhelmed and crushed. Then Matt absolutely ripped him off for all his stock. I often see him with kid resellers. It’s bloody shocking. Courtney will be the next I feel horrible for her. I’ll continue to watch and hope he goes back to what he was like at 1000 subs. Not this guy

Alright mate, not being negative or anything but I’m pretty sure those are all fake, I’m 99 percent sure that supreme sweatshirt is fake, the size of the logo and the colour isn’t right, and considering they are all off the same person and the quality of the other stuff just looks off to me, I’d get them legit checked, there’s a couple of apps you can use to get them authenticated, legit app is the best one for it, those Kanye Hoodies are infamously faked aswell so would definitely get them checked before listing them as it’s not worth the trouble, I wouldn’t pay attention to all these saddos giving you grief on here either, their lives obviously ain’t that great to be so spiteful over, most likely self projecting
