How do you collect data on the independent work. DO you have a para go through all the work and record student progress? Is independent work IEP goal related?

Yes! I pick 1 day a week to take data and I have my assistants/paraprofessionals go through and take data for me! Independent work is made up of mastered IEP goals.

When I allow children to access the work task boxes, they have often broken the latch to get it open. Do I just get lucky or do others have this problem? What do they do with their done work?

I haven't had any issues with broken latches so far. When students are done, they put their completed work back in the basket and move their schedule piece.

Depends on the students. I would say maybe 10-20 minutes.
