Any plans for automatic throttle? ... single lever operation for throttle/rpm/manifold? ... emergency automatic landing if pilot is incapacitated?

How much room in the cockpit? As much as in the P210? I'm 6'-5" tall; will I fit?

Anthony is a generous 5' 4" and had to install pedal extensions! You wouldn't have that problem, but headroom might be another story!

@@naughtyUphillboy that's what I'm heading for. At least 95%. I also like TBMs warranty schedule. The 5% for the Epic is because I live relatively close to Bend, OR. Thanks for your opinion.

@@freepilot7732 TBM main wing is triple spar, very strong. Cabin is metal & very robust. Engine is highly derated, it uses only half of its total capacity. More Derated engines are more reliable, safety. Engine failure on TBM is near unlikey & data supports that. Currently it has better avionics & easier engine control. Great handling also, just keep in mind very large engine so torque is more for the airframe, just receive good training & SIM time. Fly safe & best wishes.

@@naughtyUphillboy Your answer was prefect. I have learned all that you said and I agree. Just knowing someone else stated the same points as I have makes it easier to believe myself for a decision. I would like to add, new companies can supply good products but reality shows, it's a process to make great and reliably products. TBM has been proven. Epic is so new. I'm sure bugs need to be found and worked out.

@@freepilot7732 Yes, also, TBM is more forgiving to fly. Less space for pilots in TBM but more for passengers. However, EPIC CEO is said to be a nice & engaging/dedicated person. But, TBM goes further & uses less fuel. Trust me on that.

He doesn’t give himself enough credit when saying can he fly the epic, I mean he’s an instrument rated complex high performance pilot these no reason in less the 10 hours be very confident.
