When you find a cave entrance, you can double tap M and add a waypoint ON YOU, and it will place the waypoint at that depth and everything.. then anytime you want to go to it, you can double click M and turn on or off that particular waypoint, and just go to it. It's quite nice. I've set waypoints underwater for both caves. Also underwater drops!!!

You don’t need to throw your shoulder pet to access its inventory anymore, it works like the syno and you can just hold R and access it while it’s on your shoulder

You can ignore all the dunklo's in that cave. Its really not worth the headache of chewing through their armor. The cave takes just a few minutes if you just don't aggro them.

I found trying to swim in circles on the basilosaur you actually end up just missing your bight radius your better off just stopping letting shit come to you and just spam attack the whole moving thing didn’t work great for me and as for the explorer note in artifact room in this cave I didn’t see that explorer note

Also there’s a whole out of water bit in that cave you didn’t do there’s 2 explorer notes up there and there’s one under water headed in the direction you almost got the second drop. You also got very lucky with no alphas lol

The swamp cave actually isn't too bad. I've been running it with three gigantopithecus that have 15k health and like 500% or more melee damage. You could get away with two or maybe even just one if its strong and has a really good helmet. The only real threat are the arthros because you have to wear full SCUBA or a gas mask to not die to the poison gas. You'd probably want to raise up a male Bary to bring in with Cove for the mate boost, although she might be able to handle it on her own. Gigantopithecus are super strong, and a good helmet can mean that they take very little damage, but they break. I went in with a mastercraft riot helmet that had nearly 500 durability. It got smoked before I even got to the artifact because you just take so many hits from all the bugs, plus any arthro spit will knock out a huge chunk. With my three though, I haven't even bothered with helmets because I got tired of repairing them. It's actually not a very long cave and you can run back and forth a bit to try and get some of the drops to respawn. I almost always come away with two blue drops, one yellow, and two reds. I did notice a glitch once or twice where I couldn't remove a leech from my creature and I had to walk it onto a fire, so just be wary of that.

I believe you can take dimorphodon in to the cave since you can carry them on your shoulder. So bringing them in one by one should work.

I don't know if you saw it on Syntax video but anytime he goes in the water he changes the setting to see clearly I think it was Fog 3 or something so I mean you can always ask him but it makes it so much easier to see where the goggles are just pointless in the game

You can, for current ones look at them and hold square, for prev ones just go into the full map not the overlay and follow the prompts as you highlight them. If you aren't getting the prompt highlight each with x to 'track' them and then exit map and look at each one in world and hold square

I use an imprinted dolphin to do this cave. Dont fight anything and just swim past it all as the dolphin js faster than all that shit
