The fact that they are not totally in sync is why this sequence is so good. The animation is not copy pasted that way, all of them have subtleties as dancers, and it reflects how real life performance is. Believe it or not, no matter how much you train as a group and tries to fix little habits trying to be unison, there will still be differences, because we are humans, not robot programmed to perfect precision. These are very simple dance moves, but the weights when they flings their limbs and heads are very on-point. This is one of the most realistic dance animation I've seen by far, and I heard the animator is really good at animating dancing in particular? If so I'd like someone to give me the name of his/her. I'd like to look more into the animator's work.

Beyond the boundary is one of my favorite animes, it had a lot of action throughout the series I feel like the relationships were really well developed and it had a really satisfying ending. Some other really good animes, in my opinion, are blood lad, Akame ga Kill, Btoom, Highschool of the dead, attack on titan, and my hero academia. I think it would be cool to hear what animes others like.

What's really amazing about this animation is that each dancer is ever so slightly different. Pause at any given moment, and there's a high chance their legs will be doing different things, even when they're doing the same moves. The frame I've got it on now, two of them finished the step they all took, but one has his hips aimed differently than the other guy; and the two girls, while they both are a hair later on the step, are in slightly different spots with their hand movements. Which is exactly how it would be with real dancers, no matter how tight their choreography is. Run it back and let it play full speed, and that same moment looks like they're all in sync. So the choice to animate each character individually is a *choice*. You know Disney's been using animation templates to use and reuse the same animations in various shows, and when you line them up, it's obvious it's a copy. This, this is unique. And I love it. Every time it runs past my feed, I'm reminded I never finished this series, and I really need to go back and find out the context for this immaculately animated moment in anime history.
