The reason for this sometimes is because some parents are too ungrateful or too much caught up in “mini me” style, and fashion trends, and don’t appreciate or have an eye for real quality or comfort and functionality. Then your money goes to waste because they don’t put the children in the clothes ! So leave out the clothes buying and just spend quality time with them doing things with them.

@@Naturelife7-w4g I completely agree on just how ungrateful some parents can be! I am a former cheerleading coach and my assistant was one of them. Her parents moved across the state just to be near their grandchildren. Neither her or husband had any respect or appreciation for all the things those grandparents did and even allowed their children to disrespect the grandparents! In my case my mother has been deceased since I was 11, and my dad has never really been much of a dad. He was just visiting last week from another state after we had to persuade him to come visit. It was evident the guy had no interest in trying to bond with my son. He was too eager to get back home to his bachelor life. My mother-in-law has an opioid problem, so she's not good for much. You have no idea how much I wish my son had active and loving grandparents.

Right! I used to school shop immediately after school got out, especially during the holiday sales. I even shopped during the year off season. When school was about to open or when winter came, I was ready! I was a single mom and needed to strategically be prepared and minimize unnecessary stress and strain as much as possible. The unpredictable home repairs were enough 😩. Love her! I wish I had more time with my mom. She helped me as long as she could because she knew I wouldn’t ask for help. I lost her in 2014, at the young age of 56. Let mama be great LOL! Well she is, regardless 😅😅. Now, moovee!!
