I know. Black Bear made me see another side of her that I didn't know about, man, it's difficult to follow the career of every actor, but with her since Agatha All Along she made me investigate her work more and I was amazed. She's one of the best actresses... They say that comedians are better doing drama, than those who only do drama, and boy, yes. She's already in my top list of best actors along with Kathryn Hahn.

Best analysis of Aubrey Plaza on KZbin. You totally get her, or at least we share the same exact opinion of her and her different personas, acting roles, etc. There have been so many people on KZbin over the years (usually in the comments section of a talk show appearance), saying things like OMG she’s so awkward but it’s adorable, or she seems so nervous at first, or whatever. Of course, that sort of thing has died down in recent years, but I could always tell she was doing a shtick. As you said, her early work as April Ludgate and in films like Safety Not Guaranteed (which I own because it’s awesome) was basically this character just tweaked a bit from project to project. Then through her thirties she really came into her own as a movie actress, and explored different personas without “selling out”, whatever that means. I mean she has always kept an edge to her. I’m loving her in Agatha because she’s sort of come full circle…like she’s just playing herself, back to her evilhag-screenname days. And she crushes everything she does. Keep up the great work! Have a spooky Halloween and be sure to catch the double episode finale of Agatha All Along on the All Hallows Eve eve. Rio Vidal (_ _ _ _ _) guaranteed to be there!

Ingrid Goes West and Emily the Criminal were both great. I haven't seen many of the others (I've actually never watched Parks & Rec) but I've been aware of her through pop culture osmosis and proximity for a long time (being a frequent commenter on AV Club during its prime probably being the largest contributor to that). And yeah I've really grown to love her as an interesting and surprisingly ranged actor.

I loved her since Mystery Team. I think that was the first thing I saw. Or maybe it was Parks. Followed everything she did. Loved it. But then she did Legion. And I knew she was something special. She will have an Oscar one day. mamy Emmys. We have only got the start of her career and shes only getting warmed up. And legitimately. Who Aubrey is playing in Agatha is perfect casting. I just know that she will blow me away in the last few episodes of Agatha all along. It seems like some juicy things are coming for her character! And even though it's a different role, I feel like Rio is kind of in the same category as Lenny from Legion which is probably my favourite role of hers. I do have to say though, she absolutely KILLED it in Black Bear, the rawness of her performance stayed with me long after watching the film.
