I'm glad Bret sticks up for the other wrestlers! Wrestlers deserve so much more credit in the world than they get! I'm glad he mentioned how the movie The Wrestler isn't totally realistic of the wrestling world. It only represented the bad part, never once mentioning the good wrestlers do. They entertain us so selflessly, and give up personal time for their fans. The world needs to recognize that wrestlers are not all washed up pill addicts!

i think everyone realised the rise of MMA its like how wrestling was in 1997-1999 additude era wise everyone was watching the wars and the show was insane.

I agree about the internet ,it really did changed wrestling ,the part where bret mentions that fans become smarter than the wrestlers is so true,when I was watching wrestling back in the day ,apart from having great storylines during the attitude era ,is that you had no idea of what or how pro wrestling was back in the day ,nobody knew what a 'face' was or nobody knew what a 'heel' was and nobody knew what storylines was you know and that is why like others,I had enjoyed it back in the day.

really good interview Bret looks great and sounds great he seems really content nowadays than he did five years ago i am really happy for him and things are going for him if Bret is reading this right now all i ask is that you be careful at WM 26 us fans care about you too much we all know that you won't be a chettah in the ring but just be careful

funny how he mentions ufc. in a lot of ways wrestlers are tougher. fighter gets knocked out...match is over. wrestlers get knocked out...they buy him time. the show must go on

This is odd considering bret said on some promo before a show or a DVD that they endure real pain and they're real athletes etc..here he's writing off pro wrestling like its nothing

thats why hes the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be santa claus is real, that one statement that one idea hes trying to express about wrestling, hes gets it, he gets entertainment, he gets an era gone past its a shame, i never looked at the internet that way, sure its given us a lot of great things, but its ruined some things and shaped the obsessive culture we have today

@Adideva3 you can still be able to enjoy wrestling without the interent the reason why people are not into wrestling that much is due to the lack of good storylines
@Adideva3

@Adideva3 Now why I said apart from attitude era was because attitude era was the greatest, best storylines ever with such great wrestler characters and personas ,if they were to bring back another attitude era ,the internet wouldn't have much effect on it although we the fans are smarter about pro wrestling now due to the internet because the attitude era rocked ,even now there are fans that know how pro wrestling works and they would still tell you attitude era rocks.
