Giant Air Plant information:
Its scientific name is Tillandsia utriculata. They are called 'air plants' because they typically live in trees. People sometimes think the name means they can survive air alone, but thats wrong! they still need water and nutrients (typically from decaying leaf litter they collect). They don't have a very high survival rate on the ground, and tend to die from staying wet for too long. Im just trying to raise awareness because I see people throwing them out or mowing over them all time time and there are very few left in my area.

@@dukybruda5980 Its a plant native to the southern US in areas in the Caribbean and I believe in some areas of the desert as well , as he mentioned at 9:50 the mexican weevil is a invasive bug species that is killing these plants so now the air plant in some areas is becoming endangered .Also a reason they are called air plants is because they are able to grow on places that are holding a bit of moisture so you see them on the sides of trees , telephone poles ,houses . ect

I've always thought it might be fun to somehow mix some liquid oxygen and kerosene (from what little I can find about this, the LOX would boil off quickly, but briefly you would have a slushie). If I understand correctly, if they are near stoichiometric and mixed, it will go high-order and detonate.

Actually, methane has a 30 times bigger greenhouse effect than carbon dioxide. When burning, you get three times as much carbon dioxide than methane. So burning the methane instead of releasing it into the air would actually be good. Just set the cows farts on fire!

This concept makes sense actually. Most likely a flammable gas that's been super condensed/chilled to a liquid (like liquid nitrogen is). And the reason it doesn't all go up in flames is probably because the liquid around the fire flash-steams, pushing the the fire away faster than the liquids overall flow rate.
