there's a youtuber called "psychology in seattle" which is great for providing a psychologist's perspective of reality tv. if i've learned anything from his break down of things is this: yes, karen is a slow mover and is overwhelmed with miles' expression of emotion. however it is likely that miles is putting it on too much. at one point, karen explained that she's a carer and so is miles. miles cares for by asking "what can i do for you?" and karen cares by cooking all the meals in the middle of the night. so now that miles is basically screaming from the mountain top "why wont you let me care for you?!" karen is overwhelmed. this makes miles looks good and karen look like she doesnt want anything good to happen to her. going slow is caring. emilia and benette understand this about each other and are feeling out each other's boundaries. while miles is doing a good job of communicating his feelings, it is worth remembering that we are not seeing all 24 hours of their lives.

In my opinion, Karen wanted to be matched with someone who was similar to her ex. So that way she could have the feeling of “fixing” the issue. She isn’t attracted to Miles because he doesn’t represent what she is used to. After you get hurt, you try to prove something to yourself which will lead you to attracting the same types of men. I guarantee if Karen and Miles don’t work out, she’s going to be looking for all of Miles’ characteristics in her next relationship. She needs to heal so she can be open to Miles’ emotional intelligence. When you’ve dated toxic partners, you suppress your needs in order to please your partner. She probably doesn’t even know her own needs or how to express them because they weren’t heard in the past. Bottom line, they need to incorporate actual individual counseling during the show. Or require it prior to filming.

Miles writing "have sex with his wife" on the calendar was in response to her saying something about penciling it in on the calendar. While it was immature, his reaction was from her energy and I think she misinterpreted him. Because, Miles was joking (albeit a bad joke), and meant no malice. Henry & Christina gave me hope, but I'm treading lightly on this. If Christina is back on her meds and her mood/attitude changes and also Henry is more receptive, I hope this works.

Both Miles and Karen have said that her comments to the depression scene was a deceptive edit! The producers really set her up and that really sucks because people are reacting to that moment when it was manufactured for maximum drama. If you don't read the article she basically says that they spliced her response to what she typically looks for in a man as if it was her response to Miles' depression confession. Honestly, if Karen was attracted to miles, she would be open to the emotional intelligence he displays. Karen talks about everything being natural for her to feel comfortable and stuff but I don’t buy it. Let a guy be attractive to her she would be more affectionate and more willing for it to work. I say that because she was hellbent on doing the show in the beginning and it was once she saw his page it has been doubt, scrutiny and coldness ever since. We back baby! This last episode was good. I don’t buy any of the Christina and Henry storyline. Sounds like the producers trying to help them get to the finish line. The situation with Miles was meant to be playful with writing sex on the schedule and she took it to be serious. Karen is not a good match for Miles and I just want them to get to the end so they can go their own separate ways. Miles has been respectful the whole time so there’s no way he would actually try to force her into something she’s uncomfortable with. Miles and Woody still goals. Bennet got the drawls!!(Tommy voice 😂😂) They’re still just good together. Brett and Olivia just don’t go well together.

Hahahaha I loveeeee y’all! In Henry’s defends even though he had Cristina’s name saved as that.. when he called he was hi Cristina it’s Henry ..your husband.. loool! I honestly thought she was lying about the ADD and I almost believe that Henry felt the same way so maybe that why he was a bit thrown off like oh what a coincidence. It was too sharp of change for me with them in this episode. Like from not a drop of chemistry to now suddenly trying. It’s just like suspicious!!!
