that's a LOT of nozzles. I use ONE which has been doing great for the last 2000 hours of printing (roughly 60kgs). I might use 1 per size and have a spare of my most used one, but couldn't imagine having dozens of nozzles around ever since I swapped to decent quality ones instead of the chinese knockoffs...

Hi, I tend to change the nozzles after around 15kgs as an average I would say. I change them as a matter of course, rather than having any issues as they are fairly inexpensive.

@@Kalbo64 depends on the nozzle I'd say. i used to run €3 AliExpress nozzles, but my current one is a €60 obxidian...

Interesting, I have not tried the obxidian nozzle's before, so did a bit of research. I don't get any quality issues, and print in PLA 90% of the time, would you say there are still advantages for me switching?

@@Kalbo64 If you're printing only PLA (without additives) then probably not. I printed a lot of PETG-CF and the CF would wear the nozzles out in 3-4kgs. PETG also loves clinging to the regular brass nozzles, but much less so to this obxidian one.

Thank you I really do appreciate the replies as it isn't something I had even looked at. I think I will take the plunge and try one out on one of my printers.
