Watching your one daughter chomping on the hollowed out bread made me smile, I like the crust too. 🙂 Also reminded me of the Panzanella salad I used to make in Africa. Haven't made it since we've immigrated. Maybe it would be a fun one for your family to try next year in the Summer with all the sourdough bread and fresh tomatoes etc?
