I actually want a Ghost/Scooby Doo crossover. My thought is Mystery Inc is visiting family for Easter and they go to this big beautiful church. But during the the ceremony, there’s a flash, and Papa Emeritus and the Nameless Ghouls emerge, playing demonic metal music and claiming the church haunted and claimed for Satan’s dominion. The Gang has to look for clues to solve the mystery, and at one point they meet a friendly yet shady metal musician from Sweden named Tobias Forge. After a chase scene (to Square Hammer or some other similar Ghost song), they unmask Papa as Forge, who was searching for a legendary electric guitar hidden in the church’s catacombs. Forge and his friends of course needed to scare everyone away to find it without interruption. And he would’ve gotten away with it too if it weren’t for those meddling kids! (If you’re interested, there was some fan art I could link you that shows more antics that could happen)
@itswilbur37472 жыл бұрын
@@sylph8005 That would be great, thanks🙂
@MamaEmeritus2 жыл бұрын
@@sylph8005 I love the concept! A lot of popular musicians at the time of production were featured on the ‘Where Are You’ series so Ghost would fit the memo perfectly. Only, I believe even Scooby and the Gang are Ghost fans themselves and would have far too much respect to unmask Papa themselves, since Tobias wants Ghost to thrive off anonymity. Instead, Mystery Inc should unmask a total fake. I honestly think Tobias and whoever works on the Scooby Doo team today could put together something REALLY good. Maybe they should unmask Papa Zero for faking his death and trying to take down Papa IV by acting as an imposter so he can reclaim the spotlight. On a real note, is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling Papa Nihil will eventually return? I’ve had suspicions since Nihil’s sudden death on stage and now that Ghost recently released The Re-Animator shirts, all the gears in my brain are going like clockwork lol

I fell in love with ghost my senior year of high school, totally indoctrinated into the clergy by Meliora. When I graduated, I had the Cardinal first album which helped me cope with moving away from home to college for the first time. Ghost helped me a lot in those first couple years. Then I fell out of the clergy when some crazy girl I knew basically tried to ruin my life. We had both loved Ghost but after I fell out with her, I needed a break, from Ghost too. But with the release of Hunter's Moon, my own college graduation on the horizon and my mental health back, I've finally found my way back. Listening to the new album was like seeing an old lover in a crowd, walking up to them, worried how'd they react and having them hug me like "Where've you been, love?" I'm a proud member of the clergy once more!

Not only did I love the host's line of "nine millennia" being in sync with the footage of Nihil saying almost the exact same thing, when they then started to actually play the audio from the clip I was half expecting it to just continue on for the rest of the video. Thank you Ghost for this absolutely AMAZING video. And seeing that Papa IV robe blanket on the table in the one guys room makes me wish mine was here already.

Man, nothing beats Opus Eponymous. I remember when I first came across that record and listened in 2011. Blown away

This reminds me of those shows MTV would run regarding bands. Brings back good memories.

only a band like ghost could have created something like that. They've been the best band by far for a long time

Holy shit, this is so enlightening. It explains so much yet asks even more questions. Definitely shows all those naysayers that these guys are super serious.

This is most interesting. I have worshiped this band since first sight and sound. I have noticed correlation with past, present and future. I love how mythical Ghost is. For me it's is following my personal lifes story even more than you could ever know. Many midnight drives racing through canyons listening to there music constantly daring death. That's all I have to say about that for now. Best music I have heard and it transports me to a higher place. Love this in depth look into Ghost.

God that was too perfect omg the amount of effort they put into this with all the unnecessary research, Pure gold. But omg if there's one thing to take away from it....26:55 If this is hinting that Zenith will be in the setlist for the new tour, I'm gonna go nuts

"I would estimate 10% of them become ghost fans. Right there. On the spot" the dry wit of this is amazing.
