"About Us", in the vein of other great mid-tempo Band-Maid songs like Daydreaming, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, Wonderland, Awkward, Start Over, Mirage and Smile, is an amazing song and personal message to their fans - a direction I'm glad to see them add to their journey toward world domination. And we get to hear MISA play the vibe she so enjoys. Their new, beautiful DVD/BD/CD box set (with 100 page picture book) of this incredible concert is unbelievable! Thanks guys, for bringing "About Us" to your viewers!

I watched this again. This is the most "healing" kind of song I have ever heard, Just beautiful. These girls have no boundaries in what they can create and perform with absolute passion, and as always , are astounding in every way.

About Us is a message to fans released after the release of the latest hard rock album "Unseen World". "Unseen World" is in the official KZbin and you can listen to all the songs now. Live footage of some of them has been released. We can see where they are now.

Welcome back, guys!! They wrote this beautiful song to the fans, especially for the pandemic. To encourage us to stay strong and to tell us how much they love and miss us during this difficult time. Their new album is actually harder and faster than ever!!! They never disappoint and continue to surprise me. They are one of the most consistent bands ever to able to put out different insanely catchy hits one after another, every single time! I can see a lot of bands can get really jealous of their impressive catalogue of songs in such a short time period. I'll be looking forward to more Band-Maid from you guys:)
@tonygriffin_3 жыл бұрын
And.....they're back! Good to see you again, Brian and Stan. Nice choice for a reaction as this song was basically written for the fans, to say how much they missed us, how they knew we missed them, how we all miss live gigs and, most of all, how things will get better and we'll all see each other in the flesh soon. It's "About Us" all. Have to recommend the brilliant MV's that Band-Maid have posted in the last year - which is all of them. Look forward to seeing you guys reacting to them. Babymetal have put out a few things too....
@Kevin60593 жыл бұрын
Ha! This song is nothing at all like the stuff on their new album. The new album is mostly hard and fast and complex. This song was basically a love song to the fans and it was meant to say that we shouldn't worry that they know we're still here and they are still there for us. Soon this covid crap will be over and we can do live shows again. You are dead on though when you say that this band can do anything because yes they can.

They have 3 more videos from the Feb 11th show. Warning and No God are beat you up and take your lunch money music. 🤘 They also have a live version of Thrill from that show. I watched it live and literally jumped out of my chair when Thrill started. It was my introduction to Band-Maid and I have been wanting a live version of it. The new album has some songs that harken back to their roots and some that are full on powerful progressive music with those hella catchy choruses they are so good at. Good to see you guys back.
@thunderchild71373 жыл бұрын
Good to see you guys again. The Maids performed several online concerts to let their fans know that they were still alive and thinking of us fans. About Us is a part of that outreach to us. They honestly care for their fans so much. Keep in mind they are the most musically diverse band on the planet. Try Warning, Manners or After Life and get set to rock.

Great reaction. Glad to see you guys back. :) I thoroughly enjoyed their recent release, which is primarily hard and up-tempo, and goes progressive in places. This song was written as a tribute to fans during the sad Covid days, and I think the only ballad they've recently put out (wish they'd do more ballads or mid-tempo stuff). All of their new stuff is well worth reacting to.
@outwest10143 жыл бұрын
At the top of their game, especially Miku's lyrics! Saiki has the perfect voice for their music. She was a backup singer and dancer when she was tricked into joining Band Maid (her words) that gave her perfect showcase for her. It's obvious that Kanami and Miku write their songs to Saiki's voice. Worried about them and many other bands. Japan is having another Covid surge and they way behind on vaccinations. Welcome back guys. A new band for you (2019) to checkout Nemophila "Dissension" a nice song to start with.
@phaeron3 жыл бұрын
Oh, if you only knew how little this song has in common stylistically with their current album. :) I think it was the right step to publish this song separately, because it is quite special in terms of its sound and meaning. The ladies couldn't have chosen a better way to send a message to their fans out there. And I think you can hear and see very well in some parts how emotional this performance was for them. To get an idea of the album, I'll just say 'Warning' or 'No God'. :) 【 'Our rock never dies ever. Forever!' - from 'Manners' by Band-Maid 】🕊️

This is a love letter to their fans. You won't hear many ballads from them. We miss the live concerts and they miss us. Here are the names of the band members. Kanami(Mincho) - Lead Guitar, Misa(The Assassin) - Bass, Miku(Little Pigeon) - Rhythm Guitar and Creator of Band-Maid, Akane - Drummer Extraordinaire, and Saiki - Lead Singer.

Nice to see y'all back. As always, nice reaction. Just before the band performed the song Saiki gave an emotional talk about the struggles over the past year. This is the English translation of what she said which gives more meaning to the song they wrote and what it means to the band. Saiki: We were supposed to meet you today. For the first time in a year, we thought we could meet you all, those of you who could come to see us, but we can’t meet you in the end. I’m sorry. Even though it’s not my fault. We have been having days of turmoil for about a year. In the beginning, we were very surprised because we hadn’t experienced it before, and we had no experience of not being able to meet others in person. We were sad, but we found we shouldn’t be sad in this situation. When I saw you masters and princesses on social media, you were more depressed than us, and we thought that’s terrible. We Band-Maid have been thinking about how to cheer up all of you in the last one year. We truly wanted to meet you at Nippon Budokan, but it’s impossible because of COVID, so let’s wait for the day when we can meet. And in the last one year… or in the COVID pandemic, we have become more eager to cheer you up, and we Band-Maid realized again it’s important to give our songs to you. That’s why we wrote this song for Budokan. We made the album also in the pandemic, so it might have a little similar feel, but this song is planned for Nippon Budokan, and we really want to give it to you masters and princesses now. Budokan is not our goal but just a stepping stone. We will perform at bigger venues, and we promise we will bring you there and give you even better songs, so let’s keep it up a little more. This is our present for you masters and princesses. Please listen to it.

Great reaction and breakdown brothers! They're still the best rock and roll band in the world today. Nothing wrong with a ballad every now and then. Remember. They're not a metal band. Hard Rock. Stones and Zeppellin. Not mettalica or maiden. Nothing wrong with metal. Just like rock and roll better. Thanks gentleman.😊😎🤘🤘🤘

Jazzier. Not poppier. They always have poppy chorus. The sound may not be powerful but it's emotionally powerful. They drop this kind of emotionally heavy songs every now and then. But most new songs are fast-paced, bold, experimental or prog or whatever. But you are guaranteed to hear band-maid.
